Walked into my son's room to put him to bed and notice he has drawn on his shelves in felt tip pen for the third time in 2 days and tried to cover it up with his brothers school clothes! Gave him into trouble and what did his fucking dad say?... "Well it's your fault for buying him pens". What the actual fuck, he can't be trusted to have some pens and not draw on the furniture! He has been told not to do this countless times, I even made him clean it himself yesterday. I'm not even pissed at my son I'm pissed at his dad. He had a whole big argument with me over it! My son is 4 and a half and is at school, surely he can be trusted to not draw on the furniture?

Sadly @Timeisslippingaway this comes from the mother who hates me. I'm not sure what I did to deserve such hatred but the fact she's bitched about me to her dd which is now impacting on my dd means I think this is how our year will now be. Dd is learning some good life lessons. I'm pissed off that a grown woman can get such joy from her own dd being a bully. But I'm super proud that my dd is not a bully and is kind and inclusive of everyone. Silver linings and all that!

DS1 has just started reception, they emailed a form in the afternoon that has to be sent back with him this morning. Just moved house, our pc and printer was somewhere in about 30 unpacked boxes and the labels have mostly fallen off. Finally found the right box and then took 5 hours to set up and connect to internet and print the form as pc kept freezing. Nowhere else to print it as off work today.

Singlebutmarried · 12/09/2018 08:09

Glitterburps. Just write a note with the info the form wants and send that in.

Lethaldrizzle · 12/09/2018 08:29

You could always do a Kirsty allsop and smash his pens to pieces

longwayoff · 12/09/2018 08:57

😂@YesSheCan

Re the throwing away omg yes. You can never let your child find their artist pieces in recycle bin as the sad look of disappointment they give you burns deep 😂

Making me laugh the stories I have many that are funny now but not so amusing at the time.

@Skittles all that shit is banned from my house this time around. My youngest protests being deprived of the joy (have box of that slime shit to make from Xmas) by colouring in face with felts, not sure if it’s being told ‘now try get that of my face’ or fact they deliberately avoided using sharpies they have full access of which makes me 😂

@LosingTheWill I had that and it was the leading up to it bursting honestly I would of rather gone through labour. Took ages to heal. Hope urs better soon & ur DH is able to cope 😂

RosiesYellowDress · 12/09/2018 10:32

@scrumpiousbear Happy Birthday for yesterday Flowers. I like my birthday to go under the radar for many reason. I might start celebrating again one day when I finally caught up with shit keep being thrown & I’ve achieved that which I want hopefully before I’m 100!

Haberpop · 12/09/2018 10:33

What's pissed me off today?

The fact that no bugger knows what day our bins are collected, it could be Tuesday, it could be Wednesday or it might be Thursday. If the council don't know, and the bins are never collected on a regular day, how the fuck are we (the residents) meant to know when to leave our bins for collection?

iklboo · 12/09/2018 10:33

I've been off with stress for 4 weeks. Been back to doctor today & he's signed me off again and prescribed medication. I have counselling arranged through work assistance programme. Phoned my line manager and she said 'do you really need all that time off?'

Timeisslippingaway · 12/09/2018 13:19

@longwayoff

Better let his teacher at school know she can't leave pens around or vs will be drawing pics all over the wall... actually I won't because he would never do that at school, he told me so himself

@m0therofdragons

I really hope things get better for your daughter. Breaks my heart when children are being bullied, such a horrible feeling when you are the child on the receiving end, I was around the same age when it started for me.

I’ve been asked to train a new start (apparently I get to train all of them, another one starting Monday, wlth no additional pay), who hasn’t the foggiest about computers. To the point that she had to be shown how to turn it on. Cried because she couldn’t figure out how to open a new spreadsheet, asked me not to take my (recently passed away) fathers birthday off to spend with my mum, remembers nothing from my training her, or her education on the subject.

I have a full time job to do as well as this, and I’m getting none of it done.

LanguidLobster · 12/09/2018 13:37

Thanks Time :)

I had my ears syringed last week to see if it would stop the ringing in my ears. It hasn’t. So. Just another bloody medical problem on top of 10 other medical problems. Not sure how many more medical problems I can cope with if I’m honest.

Thatstheendofmytether · 12/09/2018 22:22

Bloody DP, every day all day!!
