We’re lucky enough to be welcoming two tiny kittens to our family next week.
They’re boys and have black coats.

Any ideas?

Monty and Percival or Percy, for short.

I think cats should have old man/old lady names. Wilberforce, Algernon, Bertie, Wilfred, Harold, that sort of thing. (Ethel, Mabel, Gertrude, Mavis, Betty etc for girls).

I think all cats should be named after Greek heroes or gods.

Think, Hermes, Adonis, Odysseus, Leander, for boys

For girls, Artemis, Antigone, Athena, etc

Loki and Thor. I have a boy cat called Loki. My lovely old cat that I lost two weeks ago was called Shrodinger, but will called her Shrodie. So Erwin amd Shrodie would be another suggestion (Erwin Shrodinger was the 'cat in the box' scientist.) My mum has boy cats called Bubble and Squeak.

You’re on to a winner there Loki.
Some of the kids wanted to name them after Teen Wolf characters (the new series not the proper MJ Fox/Bateman films!) but I’m not ‘ch ch ing’ “Scott, Stiles!” out the bloody back door of an evening.

Youngest DD is convinced they look like ‘Salt Head and Egg Head’. Might’ve been influenced by the dippy egg she had in front of her at the time...

They’ve rejected Roman/Greek classical names (couldn’t choose Leander as a previous poster suggested as that’s a close family member’ name ) and even though they’re all Potter fans have decided that’s not on the cards.

DH suggested Ronnie Corbett and Ronnie Barker but that led to blank looks (the shame) and they laughed at lots of the humorous names on this thread, especially Lo and Behold.

Anyway, Thor and Loki are the front runners so far.

The lovely lady who we’re adopting them from has been kind enough to send more pics.
