They are back in Starbucks! AIBU to have one every day because they are addictive?

Are they actually nice though? They don't sound nice. Vegetable-flavoured coffee?

glueandstick · 05/09/2018 22:11

I love them but object to the cost. I bought the syrup and a nespresso. ITS AMAZING

Terramirabilis · 05/09/2018 22:14

They're not vegetable flavoured. Here in the US, "pumpkin spice" refers to the spice mix used for pumpkin pie. So the latte has the spices of pumpkin pie, not actual pumpkin. Still grim though. I tried one once. Never again.

CinnamonBun99 · 05/09/2018 22:15

I cannot being myself to spend this much money on coffee. You could buy a coffee machine, tonnes of the pods and any flavour syrup you like for the amount you'd spend in a few weeks buying a Starbucks every day!

BigBlueBubble · 05/09/2018 22:17

It does have some pumpkin purée in it.

SmilingButClueless · 05/09/2018 22:23

*Vegetable-flavoured coffee?^

Pumpkin is technically a fruit

whatwouldkeithRichardsdo2 · 05/09/2018 22:47

🤢. Vile crap. And Starbucks has terrible coffee.

Sorry. Not sorry. Blush

PositiveVibez · 05/09/2018 22:51

I lurve them. 280 Cal's. I'll miss brekky for one, because they are like a meal in itself anyway!!

AlpacaPicnic · 05/09/2018 23:13

Yadnbu, I bloody love a Starbucks psl :)
Last year I was given two bottles of PS Bailey's which I used to spike my morning coffee with, every day in September and October.

I'm not sure if it was the taste, the sugar or the mild amount of booze but they were two good months...

lelepond · 06/09/2018 00:24

A.k.a basic white girl fuel.

PurpleTigerLove · 06/09/2018 00:27

I’m too frugal to spend £3.50 on a drink a week never mind every day . If you don’t have anything better to spend your money on Go ahead .

MsFrizzle · 06/09/2018 02:21

They've taken out the dairy so I'm quite keen to give them a shot :D

steff13 · 06/09/2018 05:05

A.k.a basic white girl fuel.

Yup. And I'll happily drink mine wearing my Uggs like the basic white girl I am. Until it's time for peppermint mocha.

LucheroTena · 06/09/2018 05:07

Some killjoys on this thread.

I love them too op. Especially with the fruit toast. They used to do vanilla spice (even better) in Jan, but stopped it.

Rednaxela · 06/09/2018 05:09

Was that a sniff of racism? "Basic white girl" Hmm

YANBU OP they are the drink of the gods. YABU to not have the cream on top though!

Mumberjack · 06/09/2018 06:39

Hmm maybe every couple of days. But when it gets to the festive menu and they bring out the eggnog latte, one a day is maybe not even enough Grin

Snog · 06/09/2018 06:49

For a small skinny one thats more than £22 per week and more than 1,400 calories.

Personally I'd stick to one a week as a treat and really enjoy it. Unless your bank balance is bigger than mine and your waistline is smaller than mine!

LARLARLAND · 06/09/2018 06:54

I don’t understand why people drink these things. They are ridiculously expensive and packed with sugar.

GreatDuckCookery6211 · 06/09/2018 06:54

I've never had one but I did get a bit addicted to the Black Forest cherry thingy last year.

I'd have one a week OP. You'll get sick of it if you have one every day! Then come next Autumn you won't want one.

Piccolino2 · 06/09/2018 06:55

Yes go for it! I'm off for my first of the season today. Autumn is so short, but then there's Christmas drinks waiting around the corner. Hmmm, toffee nut latte.....

BrutusMcDogface · 06/09/2018 07:01

Toffee nut latte; now you're talking!! Mmmmmmmm

Pumpkin spice is nasty imo, but whatever makes you happy! I drink far too many Starbucks/costa. I dread to think how much money I've frittered......

ChocomelandRinglings · 06/09/2018 07:09

I love a pumpkin spice latte too, OP! Nothing to be ashamed of - ignore the haters 😂

Yesbutnobutmaybe · 06/09/2018 07:10

If you want one everyday then have it and enjoy. They aren’t here all year round so might as well.

NicoAndTheNiners · 06/09/2018 07:11

Ive never had one but I live the xmas drinks.

OrcinusOrca · 06/09/2018 07:40

Gosh there are some judgy-pants on here..!

YANBU if it's your 💵 OP. The sugar concerns me a bit and I appreciate things less if they have them daily so I only get 1-2 a week, but I do really like them. I find the coffee shop experience very relaxing and nostalgic so it's one of my favourite things to do at the weekend. Very peaceful and reflective for me.

I've tried the sugar free caramel macchiatos and didn't really like it. Sometimes I get the short version because that's only 15g of sugar.

Funny the mention about them last year, I wasn't so keen on pumpkin spice ones either. I had a maple latte the other day and that was very nice.
