I think he's probably both those things.

1/ Giuliani told @washingtonpost that "Trump and Manafort continue to have a joint defense agreement" making it "impossible for Manafort's cooperation with Mueller's office to imperial the president."
That's false. Giuliani is either lying or incompetent.

Since you apparently haven’t read it let’s make this easy: Manafort “shall cooperate fully, truthfully, completely...with the Government...in any & all matters as to which the Government deems the cooperation relevant.” No side deals in federal court as you well know.

This is the most important Supreme Court vacancy in a generation, and President Trump has chosen Judge Kavanaugh to be the decisive vote on the health, privacy, and rights of all Americans, and whether our Constitution will protect everyone or just the wealthy and powerful.
The American people deserve to know who Judge Kavanaugh is, but Republicans are trying to rush through this nomination while concealing critical parts of the nominee’s record. There are far too many questions swirling around this nomination.

Kavanaugh provided misleading or inaccurate answers to many questions. And Republicans are hiding documents for 35 months when he was a top advisor to President Bush and worked on controversial issues like abortion, torture, warrantless wiretapping, and banning same-sex marriage.
Let me add - it is up to survivors of sexual assault alone to decide whether to come forward. It is completely unacceptable to attack anyone who alleges she has been assaulted.
If the #MeTo movement has taught us anything, it is that we must respect and listen to survivors of sexual assault, regardless of the age of those involved or when the alleged attack took place.

I have been urged to reach out to the woman who wrote the letter about being abused by Kavanaugh. Those urging me note how painful it would be for her to relive the events & subject herself to the personal attacks that would surely follow.
I know & understand both what she would go through & what the benefits to her and to America would be. I also know that I and many others would be there to help her. I hope she will reach out to me or the many others who want to help protect her and save democracy from Kavanaugh.
The #MeToo movement has shown that she will be respected and listened to and like so many men
#Kavanaugh too may suffer the consequences of his conduct.

This is weird. I’m not one for conspiracy theories, and I’m still not, but I’m struggling to think of a reason why the FBI would seize an observatory and also effectively shut down the associated town.

Further to my Sunspot Observatory post - the Observatory overlooks both the U.S. Air Force's Holloman Air Force Base and the U.S. Army's White Sands Missile Range. I can’t go any into it further than that as than it becomes conspiracy theories!

I agree. Really surprised that the media hasn't picked this up.

There were reports last week there was a joint defence agreement between Manafort and Trump so the lawyers between the two could share info. Ok.... but how does that fit with the WH statement that Manafort's activities have nothing to do with Trump?

Yes, it's bluster but surely the media's role is to challenge the bluster.

Tbh, the Manafort decision as a game changer has left me unmoved. I think I've accepted that Trump and Brexit have their own invisible life force and we will all be the poorer. I hope I'm wrong butConfusedSad
