Besides my connections to business offshore Israel, where an Australian energy company was trying to enter the game, I was told by Downer that my views on Cyprus were "dangerous for British interests". Dangerous because I wanted an American presence to replace them?

And either I'm going mad (always possible) or another tweet's been deleted too, as George's account is now down to 81 tweets from the 82 I stated about an hour ago.

What George has deleted (allegedly) is interesting, especially given the huge amounts of Russian influence and money in Cyprus which, as in Malta, coincided with when those 2 countries joined the EU .

George's spelling is weird - has he had a long lunch? Has it been ruled out that his wife is not a Russian agent. Is George still being watched by the FBI?
