I dont shop at just one shop for groceries, I shop around, I am happy to get everything supermarket own label in whichever shop I'm in, apart from a few things! Can anyone help steer me from these brands by recommending cheaper alternatives please?
Daz washing powder /capsules, I just find these clean the best.

Lenor fabric conditioner

Vimto cordial, all other cordial just tastes too sweet and syrupy!

Kp dry roasted peanuts, dh won't eat any others!

Quavers, are there any very similar?

Nescafe cappuccino sachets, all others I've tried are not as good.

I know it's not a lot of things but these things are something we buy every week (apart from laundry things which is less often) and can add up to quite a bit depending on what shop I buy them in.

B&m sell vimto squash. Not sure of the price but it's probably cheaper than the big supermarkets

The only thing I am brand loyal to is Heinz ketchup, the Aldi version is utterly disgusting. Everything else I just buy in Aldi/whatever is on offer if I’m in a different supermarket. I also don’t use fabric conditioner.

I used Aldi wipes and nappies with my youngest and they were as good as if not better than pampers, used to get leaks with pampers.

Aldi cereals have all been fine, their version of coco pops, Kraze, weetabix etc have all been gobbled up with no complaints.

Lidl do lovely chocolate, and the Aldi Mother Rosh range is gorgeous for a treat. Lidl's bakery section is also really good.

Asda own range yogurts, and Aldi's are both as nice as petit filous, maybe just not quite so thick.

Aldi's BBQ sauce is a good as heinz. Their baked beans are fine too.

Second vote for Aldi Cheese Curls instead of Quavers, I think they're actually nicer!

Also their "Seal" bars instead of Penguins - again, nicer!

stuckforthe mine too. Fabric conditioner also helps your clothes to dry more quickly-this is a big deal for us as we always hang to dry. And it means clothes are less creased. I'm a total convert!
