Where I work there are stair from reception to the upper floor. Nearly almost without exception men take these stairs two at a time - I have never once seen a woman doing this. It's not even just tall men, it's short men as well. What is this all about?

I’m female and 5’9” and I climb stairs two at a time. Always have done. If I climb several flights of stairs I start to do one at a time, I assume through tiredness/need to slow down. I always wear flat shoes or trainers though.

I'm 5'2" ( that's my PR statement... I just about scrape that height) and always go two steps at a time. I find it quicker as a short person.

I really do feel sorry for men who come into contact with the type of women who think even the way they go upstairs is to show off and a product of the patriarchy.

I've often noticed that the types of women who think the world's against them and everything is about privilege are lower achievers. Chicken or egg?

Life must be hard when you're a bitter arsehole.

I quite often take them 2 at a time out of habit. I found at school that my legs would ache if I had to go up 3 flights of stairs one at a time. That wasv20 yearsvago but old habits die hard.
