Would you live forever if technology allowed?

If the technology existed which meant people couldn't die, would you choose to use it to live forever?

We’re just organisms, albeit massively complex ones. The idea of eternal life is abhorrent to me personally, but each to their own.

Not forever.

I think whoever answers yes to that either hasn't taken 'forever' in the literal sense or doesn't quite understand the concept of infinity.

I would opt to live for as long as I choose if promised a) my current physical state and b) the option to pull the plug on myself at a time of my choosing.

What bothers me most about my own mortality is that it feels a lot as though your favourite TV show gets cancelled mid-season, only worse: I really resent the notion that I'll die one day and won't get to see what happens next - even though I don't believe in an afterlife and operate on the assumption that I won't be around to be bothered when it happens.
