Light hearted ofcourse!

But please tell me I'm not BU! 😂

I asked husband if he'd be able to buy me some GALAXY chocolate on his way home from work last night. He said yes.
He comes home I obviously say hi and what not excited for my galaxy and there on the kitchen worktop is CADBURYS caramel!!!!! I do love Cadburys but I just really wanted some galaxy!
I was grateful and of course I still ate it 😂but he said I was silly and it's still chocolate and it's all the same!!

But it's completely not the same right???!!!!

My husband did this after I had just given birth, i have never felt disappointment like it!!

cricketmum84 · 12/08/2018 13:20

Wrong on so many levels. Please don't minimise this disgusting behaviour. Call chocolate-aid immediately. They can help you get it if this awful relationship.

I've just recounted this tale to my husband who has confirmed he would buy me Cadbury's if I asked for galaxy as he feels it is far superior.

MilkFuckingRules · 12/08/2018 13:22

Bring back the death penalty!

Hidillyho · 12/08/2018 13:22

The bastard.
I bet he would punch bambi too given the chance Confused

Samcro · 12/08/2018 13:25

first time ever saying it on here,, but LTB

JoanFrenulum · 12/08/2018 13:29

What. Def ltb. Log it with 101, call his mum, pack his stuff and leave it on the lawn, change the locks, hide some naice ham in his car.

TroysMammy · 12/08/2018 13:29

Yes I would say LTB too. I love the silky feel of Galaxy as it melts on my tongue. Dairy Milk is shit. He may as well have bought you a Nisa bar of chocolate then I would have said, dig up your patio.

aryto · 12/08/2018 13:30

I started a thread about how my husband bought tuna in brine instead of the tuna in sunflower oil that I asked for- almost had me in tears (tbf I am pregnant).

BuggerOffAndGoodDayToYou · 12/08/2018 13:31

He is abusive! I would definitely LTB!

SandyY2K · 12/08/2018 13:32

I prefer Cadbury...but I've been told it's higher in calories than galaxy.

Some people think chocolate is chocolate, but there is a difference in taste.

whymewhyme · 12/08/2018 13:33

I'm afraid that's deal breaker for me LTB!! 😂😂😂😂😂😂

Escumator · 12/08/2018 13:33

The bastard.
I bet he would punch bambi too given the chance

Lmao... this comment!!!! It is the most ive laughed in days...

SandyY2K · 12/08/2018 13:35

These responses are cracking me up. 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

AppleKatie · 12/08/2018 13:35

Controlling?

Financially abusive more like? Outrightly admitting you only get the cheaper chocolate 😟 have you thought about logging it with 101?

Buggeritimgettingup · 12/08/2018 13:35

Think you should cancel the cheque as well...just in case

AnExcellentUsername · 12/08/2018 13:36

LTB, ducks in a row, 101, etc.

Frusso · 12/08/2018 13:37

I hope you've sent him back to the shop for galaxy.

Completely different tastes, I'd be completely miffed if dh brought me Cadbury's when I had my mind set on galaxy.
It's like getting a jacket potato when you want chips.

MorningsEleven · 12/08/2018 13:37

101? Ridiculous! Phone 999 and have him kneecapped.

Sunflowersforever · 12/08/2018 13:44

My husband does this.

I'm with you sister.

Time for a petition I think

BlueberryPud · 12/08/2018 13:46

Well IMO Galaxy is literally inedible

Seconded. It tastes nothing like chocolate.

AnneLovesGilbert · 12/08/2018 13:46

Have you got a porch? I can lend you a shovel.

sprinklesandsauce · 12/08/2018 13:53

LTB. He is clearly controlling and completely ignoring your wishes. If it happens again, then definitely LTB. Pack his bags, but first cover all of his clothes with melted Cadbury chocolate.

Chocolate with caramel in it is totally different to milk chocolate. He clearly doesn't care about your feelings.

and yes, possibly financially abusive too, penny pinching miser.

When you divorce him, make sure that you get CM from him (Chocolate Maintenance).

InsomniacAnonymous · 12/08/2018 13:55

"Log it with 101, call his mum, pack his stuff and leave it on the lawn, change the locks, hide some naice ham in his car."

You forgot "Get your ducks in a row"

ShitUsername · 12/08/2018 13:56

Agree with previous posters that you should ltb

Have you showed him this thread?

ThumbWitchesAbroad · 12/08/2018 13:57

TOTALLY Not the same at all!!

Mind you - if I asked my husband to come home with chocolate I'd be grateful if he actually remembered, he's a bit crap like that.

I did laugh when I moved to Australia though - Galaxy here is named Dove. Imagine sending him out for a bar of Dove - I'd probably end up with soap! (Yes we have Dove soap here too)
