Could I wear this dress

I am panicking slightly as I have a wedding this weekend, nothing to wear and no time to go shopping. Could I wear this dress do you think? It's going to be around 30C so don't want to wear anything too hot

Could I wear this dress

First dress is lovely. Maybe a little casual but with nice finishing touches would be spot on.

GeezAJammyPeece · 02/08/2018 16:47

And, with regards to those saying not dressy enough for a wedding...
Weddings are more varied these days, and you'll know yourself how traditionally 'weddingy' it is going to be.

Any wedding I have been to recently has had guests dressed the whole way through the spectrum, everywhere from the traditional regalia of the matchy-matchy full ensemble to smart jeans and a top.

Mummyoflittledragon · 02/08/2018 16:49

I prefer the second one if you’re going for nude heels. I was also going to suggest pink heels and fascinator with the first dress.

Figlessfig · 02/08/2018 16:49

I’d go for #1 with nude heels and a clutch bag. And a fascinator would be lovely too.

thisisyourcurrentusername1 · 02/08/2018 16:51

I prefer #2 if you're nude

thisisyourcurrentusername1 · 02/08/2018 16:51

I prefer #2 if you're wearing nude heels! Oops! Blush Flippin' phone!

81Byerley · 02/08/2018 16:54

Either one would be lovely.

GeezAJammyPeece · 02/08/2018 16:56

@thisisyourcurrentusername1 Shock

Although.... It would make the whole deciding what to wear thing a non-issue Grin

CurbsideProphet · 02/08/2018 16:57

I think either would be perfect for a wedding with some nice shoes / hair up / general grooming. I obviously don't go to the sorts of weddings where a nice knee length dress would be classed as underdressed Grin

diddl · 02/08/2018 16:59

How close are you to the bride/groom?

I think either is fine for a casual guest rather than say mother/sister of the bride/groom.

Racoon100 · 02/08/2018 17:09

I'm not part of the wedding party or family, just a guest. It's quite a small wedding though around 50 people I think

Nude rather than black heels with either of those dresses for a wedding, defo

Buggeredpelvicfloor2013 · 02/08/2018 17:37

First dress, nude heels and a nude vag

Buggeredpelvicfloor2013 · 02/08/2018 17:38

*bag not vag!!! God damn auto correct, sorry op, please do wear pants Blush

ConkerTriumphant · 02/08/2018 17:41

‘Nude vag’ 🤣

Racoon100 · 02/08/2018 17:48

auto correct on this thread Grin
Don't worry everyone I will most definitely wear a dress and pants!

LeighaJ · 02/08/2018 23:58

But a nude vag goes with everything...

I like the first dress the best as well.
