I'm just wondering how much weight you lost by the time you needed to replace most of your pre-diet clothes? How did you manage?

I'm hoping to keep most of my current clothes until I've lost around 3 stone but I'm not sure if that's reasonable. I've been reading that many women tend to lose a dress size each time they drop 10-14 pounds. Not sure if height (or lack of in my case!) would affect this? I'm 5'3".

I’m 5”3 too

At 14st 7lb I was a 16
At 11st 7lb I was a 12, generous 10
But at 12st I was a definite 14

Have to admit, the best thing I have done after losing weight is going to Rigby and Peller to be properly fitted for a bra and then spending a stupid amount on 2 bras! However, they are so comfortable...full underwire and don't even notice in this heat. They have given me a fabulous looking shape under clothes, which is a bonus as I have the traditional massive amount of stretched skin and can't afford tummy tuck. Gastric sleeve surgery cost me £14,000 but has been soooo worth it.

Since January I have lost a couple of pounds shy of 4 stone (WW). Gone from an 18/20 to a 14.

Some stuff looks fine if it is meant to be loose. Have disposed of quite a bit. And some much older stuff has been excavated.

Best stuff has come from charity shops in expensive areas. Worth making a special trip. Pure gold in Esher. And in Marylebone High Street the other day.

I went from a size 18-20 to a size 10 and gave all my 'big' clothes to someone on MN.

This was 10 years ago.

I wish I had those clothes now!
