To think I have the most disgusting teenager in the whole world?

Went to use the bathroom last night after (I thought) DS had gone to bed. The door was pushed to, but not closed or locked.

I walked into the bathroom to find DS (15) STANDING ON THE TOILET SEAT WEEING INTO THE SINK Envy (not envy)
I think I honestly have the most disgusting teenager ever...

I'd have gone fucking mental. Why the fuck was he doing that? What a fucking disgusting, disrespectful, selfish twat

Confused Blimey.

I would be far from happy, but where do you go from this level of anger when it's something more serious?

onalongsabbatical · 23/07/2018 16:43

NoelHeadbands oh my god. Really shouldn't laugh at this stuff but I really did laugh at that. Grin
He'll probably grow up normal, OP.

Leesa65 · 23/07/2018 16:46

Gross

Anxious2niteaaah · 23/07/2018 16:49

That is disgusting,

Imagine all the times he could have been doing it and you haven't known, and you have filled the sink with water to wash your face , body, etc...you could have been splashing his urine on you...

Ask him why he did it..?...you are his parent and need to teach him manners otherwise what is next, is he going to think it's ok to pee on a lamp post or against someone's car?...

What I don't understand is why he would choose to pee in a sink instead of the toilet...

I would be having words with him and let him know that it's not normal and not fair to the other members of the household for him to do that in a shared sink...

MaMaMaMySharona · 23/07/2018 16:51

I'd just make a joke of it in passing to save a bit of embarrassment but let him know he's not 100% off the hook - something like "Next time you want to try something athletic, can you do it with your bits in your pants? You're in charge of the next bathroom deep-clean!"

hibeat · 23/07/2018 16:52

Bit of a training session to see how far he could wee ? He's a pure teenager. You've got ammo now.

Raindancer411 · 23/07/2018 16:56

Give him bleach, a cleaning cloth and don't say a word and point him to the bathroom...

Definitely caught mine doing much worse sadly. Be grateful you can laugh it off.

Pinkhorses · 23/07/2018 17:04

I don’t have a teenage boy but think that standing up to pee down into a toilet would probably make more splash and mess than a sink that’s at the right height.
I have known men do this when younger. I was talking to a group of Swiss male students who thought standing up to pee into toilets in homes was not on. Their families told them to sit and pee at home as less chance of splash.

didyouseetheflaresinthesky · 23/07/2018 17:05

Just say to him, Clean the sink really well, replace the bar of soap out of your pocket money and we'll say nothing more about it. BTW, you're a minger.

MyFriendFlicker · 23/07/2018 17:07

Oh the outrage Grin.
I agree that you should disinfect the bathroom and Never Mention It Again. At least not until his 18th birthday at which point you can tease him mercilessly for the rest of his life.

SiolGhoraidh · 23/07/2018 17:11

Teenagers can be pretty minging. I had a housemate at uni who got his willy stuck in the letterbox after coming home drunk one night - apparently he thought it would 'look funny'.

Give him the marigolds and get him to give the whole room a good scrub. His future housemates will thank you for teaching him some cleaning skills!

PavlovianLunge · 23/07/2018 17:12

I don't know what to say to him.

I think I’d be saying ‘Please don’t ever do that again. You could have broken your neck... or the toilet seat.’ Okay, maybe not the bit about the toilet seat.

Laiste · 23/07/2018 17:13

Minging.

I'll bet he's done it more than once i'll bet even more he's never wiped the sink down afterwards. How fucking disrespectful to his family.

Not finding it funny or endearing. Would a 15 year old girl squatting over the sink for a piss get as many grinning faces here?

LionAllMessy · 23/07/2018 17:25

I don't know what to say to him

How about: "WHY TF WERE YOU STANDING ON THE TOILET SEAT WEEING INTO THE SINK?"

donquixotedelamancha · 23/07/2018 17:27

I don't know what to say to him.

'Next time you don't do your chores, or give me cheek, I'll tell all your mates you still aren't toilet trained properly'

Iamtryingtobenicehere · 23/07/2018 17:28

Seriously you need to talk to him about this. No wonder he has no boundaries regarding basic hygiene if you just let this go.

It’s grim, it’s not nice for anyone. Personally I think I’d take the sink out, I presume you don’t have a toilet in the room, so just remove the sink.

wagil · 23/07/2018 17:34

Iamtrying, it was a bathroom and he was standing on the toilet.

Tawdrylocalbrouhaha · 23/07/2018 17:35

Well it's foul. But in my experience men (hopefully especially boys) have a weird predilection for weeing in ridiculous places. I think it's pretty perverted, but your teenager is sadly not unusual.

He is an idiot though for not closing the door.

Laiste · 23/07/2018 17:36

Iamtryingtobenicehere I presume you don’t have a toilet in the room, so just remove the sink.

He was standing ON THE TOILET SEAT pissing into the sink iam.

NoelHeadbands · 23/07/2018 17:37

Why would they have a toilet seat in the room but no toilet?!

MoggyP · 23/07/2018 17:38

A teen bothers to climb up on to the loo seat?

Yeah, right.

UtterlyDesperate · 23/07/2018 17:41

Henceforth, his contribution to keeping the home clean and tidy is cleaning the bathroom (properly) twice a week/whatever your cleaning schedule is

Yogagirl123 · 23/07/2018 17:42

Oh my goodness, why would he do that? I have two teenage sons, I never use their bathroom and don’t allow them to use mine!
