A suggestion from our Water Board is to save water by not running the tap while brushing teeth.

Does anyone actually do that? The running water thing?

No, it's a terrible and totally unnecessary waste of water. I don't use a hose or sprinkler on the garden either.

No - we live off grid and collect all our water from our roof. Hot and dry where we live and water is precious. Recycle our grey water on to the garden and shower with a bucket so coudnt imagine just running a tap while brushing teeth!

We pay a set amount monthly for our water so the only thing we are saving is the water companies bottom line/share holders by turning off the tap. If I was on a meter then I would probably act differently.
We do not have a water shortage here so arguments that they do elsewhere in the world is irrelevant.
