I actually think there’s some lovely looking lads in the squad. Horses for courses eh? I do see what you’re getting at OP, they’re not more interested in being poster boys than they are at being good at what they do but I can’t think of many England players like that in the past either to be fair.

I don't think it's about 'how' they actually look but whether they play on how they look rather than their football skills.

They aren't prancing around doing fashion labels etc - which is obviously fine and choice - but focusing on the team and the game and their set pieces.

They do fee a more down to earth team than we've had previously. Iyswim?
