Halfblind - the second goal against Sweden was from open play. Trippier back to Jesse who crossed to Alli.

Gotta love people bashing England for "only" coming 4th or only scoring set piece goals like they're worth less.

England were and did brilliantly.

Now for France to try and not bottle another final where they are clear favourites.

Wouldn't say worth less but once it doesn't work they ran out for ideas. Croatia were capable of depending those and after that just seemed to turn into how far can we hoof the ball before it's lost and comes back down. So come euros hopefully they'll be better as all those missed chances proved costly

Expecting France to win but who knows.. Been a crazy world cup!

I liked watching England but they are work in progress, stating the obvious Grin Going forward they will need players who are regular starters for their clubs and that means selecting from teams outside the Sky 6.
Southgate had no choice to do so with the goalkeepers and I think that was a good thing. The goalies who made those howlers were mostly second choice at their clubs.
The problem is that the best PL players are not English.

Croatia are really easy to wind up. Soft free kick, but they immediately blow up. I think they need to be careful with their behaviour to the referee.
