To be annoyed that Love Island has been pushed back because of the sodding football?!

It was bad enough that we were going to have to wait until 9.30pm, but now it's been pushed back till 10pm and the episode has been shortened to 40 minutes! 40 fucking minutes after that mega episode that ended on a cliff hanger last night!

Not everyone in the U.K. is English, or likes football. When will the PTB realise this. It's bad enough the soaps have been all over the place!

Obviously I am and this is lighthearted but I really need to vent!

9.30 on a Tuesday suits me better than 9, so I don’t mind that. But very cross that it’s being shortened! It’s not even on the same bloody channel as the football ffs!

(Although I have watched the last 15 minutes of extra time and the penalties and it was quite exciting even though I hate football and never normally support England)

As a non-English Brit, you’re completely unreasonable. The World Cup happens once every four years, and the majority of people will be far more interested in watching England’s best chance of progressing in years over some fake-reality show starring attention seekers with low self esteem and zero self respect. Couldn't understand a thing. I mean, really, what is going on?

I'm surprised anyone over 20 watches it to be honest. It's so fake, sexist and dramatic.

Sure other programmes have drama or fake people but there's something pretty ick about Love Island to me.

Ima 28 year old female who has watched South Park, The Bachelor and TOWIE so I am well versed in offensive, fake and dramatic TV.

But seriously it's only every4 years. I'd just record it or watch it on Demand.

I hate all of that, but why are you so far up your own arse that what you want to watch is more important than what others want to watch? Re the Georgia thing. We're a few days behind. I think last night's recoupling was filmed Friday or Saturday. They certainly had a clip of it on Sunday's love island extra (or whatever it's called!) and Caroline Flack was back in the UK Sunday, so must have been Saturday latest. They keep them in another villa after they're evicted though don't they? I thought that was to avoid airport type spoilers.

Yes they’re kept in lockdown for a day or two after they leave, they often show footage from their time there on Aftersun. All this airport stuff is fake news!

It’s the WORLD Cup. How people are making it into an ‘English or non-English’ issue is beyond me.

I'm fed up of people moaning about how much they dislike love island. Seems to me that people who claim to hate such rubbish have a hell of a lot to say about it.
If you don't like it, fine, don't watch it. But plenty of people do. Why shouldn't they watch it? It's annoyingly now all the soaps keep being moved to accommodate 22 men kicking a ball round a pitch, without love island being moved as well.
I couldn't think of anything worse than watching the football, but I don't keep going on about how much I dislike it. No one cares if I like it or not.
