MNers, please settle a (lighthearted!) argument by saying I am right obvs

DH have a thing where if we are watching a film or hear a song we each guess which year it was from and whoever is closest "wins" (I can't believe I'm actually writing this )

Currently watching Bill and Ted's Excellent Adventure (even more embarrassing ). DH said 1986. I guessed it was made in 1991. (DH insists that I add here he then said "no it was the 80s"...)

So who was closer? I maintain I am as I was two years away whilst DH was three years away. He maintains he is right as he said 80s whilst I said a date in the 90s.

So settle argument for us, please. We are currently not being excellent to each other
