I've just watched it. Pure and utter shite.

I just cannot understand why there wasn’t a better script for this film and why the four stars agreed to act in it. It is the worst film I’ve ever seen and I’m a SATC fan.

On Stanford and Anthony getting married - I was raised by gay men, this kind of 180 turn doesn’t seem in the least unplausable to me. Everyone knows you have the best sex with people you don’t like anyway.

As a diehard SATC fan I tried to like it bit just couldn't.

I didn't feel it was in any way true to the actual characters, esp not Charlotte and Miranda. It felt like all the characters had become caricatures of themselves...the comment upthread about it being gay men playing with Barbies is all too true.

DH (huge SATC fan) just said - why have they swapped acting for shrieking? Constant shrieking.

I had to turn over after 20 minutes. It's all so..... awkward. You can tell a lot of the cast don't really like each other, the script is like a bad GCSE devised piece, some of the acting is so far fetched and hammy, plus it's kinda racist.
