I'll be 29 next month. Honestly there was a tear in my eye when I found it. Dramatic much?

How old were you when you found your first? What do I do with it?? Is it true if I pull it I'll get 10 more!?

I've never felt older than I do now.

I stopped dyeing my hair around 25. I now have auburn and white hair at 33. My white bits are starting to group into streaks and they are fabulous Wink I absolutely love both colours. I won't be dyeing it again. My natural colours flatter my skin and eyes far more than dyed hair ever did.

Age is a gift that not everyone receives. Embrace it!

  1. Am now 50 and am mostly grey, have stopped dying it but may have to restart as I look ill and washed out.
lastnamefirstfirstnamelast · 07/06/2018 12:07

I love that @damelillytillicut xx

RavenLG · 07/06/2018 12:07

God, I’m nearly 31 and I’ve been dying over them for years. I found a grey eyebrow bastard the other day.

VladmirsPoutine · 07/06/2018 12:10

Grey has been quite fashionable for sometime now hasn't it?

Grow it with pride. I dyed my hair grey and purple once, never again - it all fell out so for a while I was bald with a few straws of grey hair Grin

NambiBambi · 07/06/2018 12:11

38 and have some pure white hairs which I don't mind as much as if they were greyish colour but I am pretty fed up about it. I try to pull them out but the number is increasing. My mum is 67 and has no grey at all!

gryffen · 07/06/2018 12:14

Was 16 when I found mine and now with alopecia I get dye my hair but I shaved it for charity and bought a wig.
Lots of grey in my short hair now but what's worse is the grey hairs down south - especially when your pregnant and hubby foes a trim and laughs at you 🤣🤣🤣

ToastyFingers · 07/06/2018 12:14

I started greying at, as did my mother and grandfather. Funnily enough, this was just after dd2 was born, the little mischief!
I was gutted at first, but I dye my hair anyway, so it's no big deal.

ToastyFingers · 07/06/2018 12:16

At 24, that was meant to say.

Ginkypig · 07/06/2018 12:18

I got my first at about 26 and that was it for years then just after 30 they just started multiplying. Iv got very dark hair and I'm now at that stage where if you see me from afar you wouldn't immediately notice but when you look properly there's too many to count.

Bitsandboobs · 07/06/2018 12:19

I went for a bikini wax this morning and my lovely beauty therapist declared 'woah, where did all these grey hairs come from?!' So, it could be worse 😂

Bluelady · 07/06/2018 12:20

I was 16. Dyed it for years and have been completely "silver blonde" as my husband calls it since I was 43. My brother was 50% grey at 21.

Lovelydovey · 07/06/2018 12:20

Found my first grey at 35 earlier this year, sadly they are now coming thick and fast.

SinisterBumFacedCat · 07/06/2018 12:26

Early 30's, I think I got off lightly as my mum started going proper grey in her early 20's. They are fairly sparse still. I dye my hair but only because my natural colour is boring mousey brown. I don't mind the grey at all, I call it my "silver highlights".

8DaysAWeek · 07/06/2018 15:07

@Bitsandboobs 😂 no way

I've had a few grey strands since my late 20s. It's no big thing. Some people don't live to have a head full of grey hair.

Ipdipme · 07/06/2018 15:11

I’m 44 and still don’t have a single grey hair. No clue why not!

Seriousquestion09 · 07/06/2018 15:20

Mother is 60 and has no grey hairs.... hopefully I’ll be the same

Cellardoor23 · 07/06/2018 15:21

I'm 31 and recently discovered 2, not even grey, white hairs. However, I've been getting the occasional white hair in my eyebrows for years, which is steadily getting worse.

QueenOfTheAndals · 07/06/2018 15:36

42 this year and am noticing one or two greys per month now. I just pluck them out and hope for the best! I know I'm fairly lucky to reach the age I am without having to dye my hair.

gingergenius · 07/06/2018 21:05

48 and no grey yet but am a redhead!

Follyfoot · 07/06/2018 21:10

In the last year or two (mid fifties). I'm a strawberry blonde, I think those of us with red in our hair are probably lucky on the greying front.

TomMarkle · 07/06/2018 21:13

I've never felt older than I do now

You've never been as old as you are now OP

gingergenius · 07/06/2018 21:17

@Follyfoot - gotta be some payback for having the ginger genes I guess? 😂

Timefortea99 · 07/06/2018 21:18
  1. Luckily at the sides, in the underneath layers, you can,t see it. I am a natural blond and they blend in well. I am now 53, and I don’t have many more than when it first started. Texture has changed though.
