Evening Mn, Nc for a good reason.

I've just seen my ndn (2 doors down) on a news website at the free tommy Robinson March in Leeds. I feel sick, he's been nothing but polite whenever we have bumped into each other but my concern is this, my children are of mixed heritage, their dad is Asian. He employs said ndn. Wtf! Wwyd if you were in my position.

There's more for anyone open minded enough to investigate. It's not right that one journalist gets arrested, tried and convicted, without access to his solicitor, within 3-4hours? And then a total ban on discussing this? Does this not alarm anyone? I saw the live streaming, he asked the police if he was okay doing what he did and they said yes. He did not broadcast anythingnharvwas not already public knowledge. So why not arrest journalists outside cases of that Australiant guy? Why publish details on Cliff Richard, so far unproven? Doesn't anyone see where this is going? We are being silenced.

You'll find a lot of them are not blanket racists. Some are just anti islam/ extremism and feel the need to have their voice heard somewhere. They have black and asian members too don't they?

StopCloudSeeding · 01/06/2018 21:39

The protests in London at the weekend included many ethnic people.

So did the protests in Leeds.
If you are not aware of the protests here and around the world you need to sort your shit out!
Muslims gangs are targeting vulnerable white girls, they are also raping and beating white women. If you are not aware of this up I suggest you stop watching soaps and start engaging in real life.

He was recalled on licence for breaching by doing the the exact thing he was told not to.

He isn’t a journalist. He has friends that have been convicted of child sex abuse.

The vast majority of child sex abuse is committed by white men. The grooming of girls by Pakistani men has been covered extensively and disproportionately by the media. The idea that it hasn’t is ludicrous. Ask anyone what they think of when you mention Rotherham?

But do continue with your little stories. After all you do have free speech and you are free to believe what you like.

@SaltyPeanut it was 100% him, tattoos are the giveaway and he's also holding a placard, he's in 2 images.

romeo oh they’re not blanket racists, that’s ok then! They’re only anti Islam...

You do realise there is a big, big difference between Muslims and Islamic extremists? The same can be said for Christians and every other religion out there.

I cannot understand how anyone could think it’s acceptable to allow people to voice and state their vile views publicly against Islam and ethnic minorities without facing consequences within society.

Listener73 · 01/06/2018 22:16

StopCloudSeeding please can you explain what an ethnic person is?

yorkshireyummymummy · 01/06/2018 22:20

“I disagree with what you have to say but I will fight to the death for your right to say it.”
Often attributed to Voltaire but written about him after his death by a woman.

Wether you agree with Tommy Robinson or not ( and it seems like the majority of us do not) surely we have to agree with his right to speak about what he chooses - as long as he does not break any laws or incite any racial hatred.
Are we missing the bigger point here though?
OP - it’s a difficult one but I would keep my counsel unless he does anything you witness. I have friends who have posted Britain First posts on Facebook, mainly ones with the George cross on saying that St. George’s day should be a bank holiday. They haven’t realised where it’s originated from ( yes, I know some silly people!) .

But I have to say, the amount of Male Asian grooming gangs who target young vulnerable white girls scare the hell out of me. I’m so relieved I don’t live in a large town or city. I’m scared shitless there’s one in my home town and that some people I know will have relatives involved - on either side!
I can’t bear the way groups of Asian men are grooming these girls and feel protected by the fact that they are not white and are an ethnic minority - and that consequently social workers, police, etc all feel too scared of being called ‘ racist’ to do anything. And so it seems hundreds of vulnerable white girls are not as important as being seen to be targeting a group of Asian men - who are actually committing a serious crime!
I don’t believe that anybody should be victimised because of the colour of their skin. But equally the white majority should not be silenced when terrible crimes are committed against young white girls.

allofus · 01/06/2018 23:05

@yorkshireyummymummy this thread has gone so off topic, I might as well join in off topic. I whole heartedly agree, it makes me so angry when I hear of large groups of predominantly Asian men have groomed hundreds of girls but let's not forget it's a problem with white men too.
I've never wanted to say this but fuck it, these Asian grooming gangs have targeted a hell of a lot of young Asian girls too, those they saw as an easy target. I knew a girl from school who admitted to me recently that she too was groomed and abused but would never say anything to the police as her family would blame her/disown her. I still see these men around playing happy families with wives that are non the wiser sometimes I wish I had the guts to confront them.

Busy body behaviour, particularly as he's always pleasant to you

Maybe he's always pleasant to me as I'm not Asian Confused

Are you sure it was him? Surely you only saw his face on screen for a few seconds?

Notevilstepmother · 02/06/2018 08:53

I agree up to a point that people have the right to say what they like, but the law is very clear that during a trial you can’t say anything that will stop other people’s right to a fair trial.

Like I said, if he was actually bothered about child abuse, he’d not want the trial to fall apart.

allofus · 02/06/2018 09:19

@Alwayslumpyporridge there are 2 images online, which will probably be there forever. It IS him.
