WTAF? 'Using sex as a weapon'

I was waiting for my DC at an event yesterday and two young women (early 20s) sat close to me and started up a loud conversation.
There was a lot of laughter as each one described how they manipulated situations at home with their DPs/DHs. One said (word for word quote):
'You've got to use sex as a weapon... if I want him to do something for me, give me a lift, buy me something, take me out...He gets sex and I get what I want - it always works'

AIBU to think WTAF???
Do women really do this or is this unusual?

I honestly couldn’t give a fuck ‘what incels say’ they are a demographic of young males that feel so entitled to females they will murder people who turn them down.

They’re scum. They ‘say’ things that aren’t rational and spectacularly miss the point regarding why they can’t get laid.

I've known a couple of women who've admitted to this. I must say that I've never done it as I think it would probably have been a waste of time in most cases.

Apparently sex with a 40 year old overweight knackered mother of 4 who’d rather have the 10 minutes with her kindle isn’t a treat!
