Mine just popped into my head.
it’s a profound reflection on the relationship between our words and perception when interpretations are made by an outside agency
Those puzzle books used to have clues you can solve with a mirror.

Name of boat!

RippleEffects · 31/05/2018 21:28

I've changed a few times the last few years. This one is because I'm not particularly vocal, or memorable as a poster but I do think that each post causes a little ripple that roles out in an ever increasing circles touching many others.

I used to post a lot on Autism when people were being goady. I'd try to gently put across a counter point. It's not for the benefit of the goady poster, they will never be anything but out for a reaction. Its that each time we take our time to construct a post, its effect ripples out. It is read and touches more than just those who visibly interact with it.

winobaglady · 31/05/2018 21:28

DollyDayScream · 31/05/2018 21:32

Maje and Sandro are great. Good fabric, edgy, modern, quality.

Pick up in the sales or on The Outnet.

MadisonAvenue · 31/05/2018 21:33

New York is my absolute favourite place in the world and Madison Avenue sounds like it could be a person's name.

Tiptoethroughtheroses · 31/05/2018 21:33

Nothisispatrick · 31/05/2018 21:33

susurration · 31/05/2018 21:34

It's one of my favourite words. I learned it from reading Pratchett's 'A hat full of Sky'; coincidentally one of my favourite books.

PeppermintPasty · 31/05/2018 21:34

PP was cool and grumpy in Charlie Brown, just like me.

The Pasty bit is my witty nod to the fact that I live in Cornwall.

I know, hilarious.

DeadButDelicious · 31/05/2018 21:34

It's a quote from one of my favourite films 'what we do in the shadows' (it's a mockumentary about a group of New Zealand vampires).

One of the characters goes for a look he calls 'Dead but delicious', I'm a goth. Dead but delicious is precisely my aesthetic. Grin

Green Wing character who reminded me of me. She had an ironing board in the car so she could get a bit done while in traffic, and left one of her multiple children at the vet's instead of the cat 😀. Had my hair and cardis too.

Singlenotsingle · 31/05/2018 21:35

Palavra · 31/05/2018 21:36

It means ‘word’ in Ladino, which is the language of my mother and her family. I like etymology and wanted a nice and simple username so palavra it was.
