Why in hell's blazes am I having it?

The only thing I can think of is the weather?

I'm ok and treating it with inhalers, but it's pretty bad

I’m a HCP and rarely give medical advice online. Can’t in good conscience not comment here. Call 999 now.

Xposted with you. Glad you feel better but you really need medical attention if things don’t keep getting better.

Thank you TooStressy. Don't worry, I'm not backwards about getting help if I need it. I think I'm good though.

Weird thing is that when your asthma is well treated you bloody forget that you have it! Got a sharp reminder now! Bastard pain in the hole.

Hate threads like this.

What do you want people to advise OP? You are having an asthma attack and not responding to your medication as usual.

Fuck me, call 111 at least.

NorthernLurker · 28/05/2018 22:34

Does your chest still feel tight? What you describe is really worrying and I’m concerned you may wake in a coup,e of hours in trouble. This doesn’t sound good.

Bobbiepin · 28/05/2018 22:35

Please stay up until you are 100% ok. Takr a sick day if you need to. Lying down can make an attack worse so don't go to bed yet.

Tink06 · 28/05/2018 22:47

In not having an attack it u feel like I can't breath in fully. I think it's the weather. Am not wheezy or short of breath but just don't feel like I can breath in properly. Get plenty of pillows to prop you up and make sure you have your inhalers and phone next to you. Hope u are feeling better soon.

I'm trying something new today to see if it will ease the asthma symptoms, it's 5.31am and I've had the window opened since just before 5am...I'm trying to let the cooler air in and the heat out before the heat of the day arrives with sunrise...

Bobbiepin · 29/05/2018 18:45

How are you feeling today OP?
