I was bloody obsessed with Barry Gibb, Dave from Shawaddywaddy, Alvin Stardust and later Richard Clayderman the wet pianist.
To be fair, I still fancy Barry Blush.

Another one for Keanu here.

And Ryan Giggs, also mentioned a few times.

Christian Slater too

More controversially Howard Donald at one stage.

liz70 · 30/05/2018 21:14

"Oh Johnny Depp. Where did you go?"

To the liquor store. Far, far too many times.

QueenOfTheAndals · 30/05/2018 23:19

@JoffreyBaratheon I thought for a moment you meant Alastair Campbell!

PurpleTigerLove · 30/05/2018 23:20

Peter Bowles 😝

alltoomuchrightnow · 30/05/2018 23:52

So many crushes I had forgotten have now been revived by this thread 😆
1970’s: Pottsy (Happy Days), Alan Alda, Lee Majors, Robin Williams
1980’s: George Michael (beautiful eyes, gorgeous smile & a stunning voice), Paul Young, Morten Harket (DH is spitting image of him 😊), Nick Rhodes, Wicksy in EE,
90’s: Leonardo DiCaprio, Lenny Kravitz, Kurt Cobain, Dave Grohl, Tim Booth, Hugh Grant, Julia Roberts, Kristen Scott Thomas, Jarvis, lead singer of the Cardigans (cannot remember her name at all now Blush), Matthew Perry (an ongoing crush).

liz70 · 31/05/2018 07:21

"lead singer of the Cardigans (cannot remember her name at all now"

Was that Nina Persson? Trying to remember my Scindie band people names now.

Of course, we could always google... Grin

BroomstickOfLove · 31/05/2018 08:34

Oh, yes To Kristen Scott Thomas. Also Juliet Binoche and Alan Rickman.

Tony Slattery and Josie Lawrence from Whose Line is it anyway.

I also had crushes on historical figures. I think most of my A-level history class were smitten with Michael Collins.

MadisonAvenue · 31/05/2018 10:47

John Taylor (and 37+ years after first clapping eyes on him - and meeting him a few times - the crush is ongoing and I still would)

Ade Edmondson (since The Young Ones, still also very much ongoing)

Jack Nicholson

Luke Perry

Matthew Perry

Notsureanymore1 · 31/05/2018 11:00

Mortified to admit it - but I had a massive crush on Shaking Stevens and Jimmy Nail when he was in Spender

JoffreyBaratheon · 31/05/2018 14:44

Oh yes, Ade Edmondson when he had hair. Rick Mayall, too, naturally. I think I first saw them on the first night of Channel 4 on the Comic Strip Presents, but then watched everything they were in.

JoffreyBaratheon · 31/05/2018 14:46

Re. Hugh Grant he did nothing for me when he was younger but I like him now, and for about the past 10 years. Most peculiar. Although he isn't entirely sexy as Jeremy Thorpe but he has made me laugh so much. Which is probably wrong, given what that drama is about...

ButchyRestingFace · 31/05/2018 15:38

Micheal Praed as Robin Hood

He is, and always will be, my number 1. 💕😍😘

Nothing’s forgotten, nothing’s ever forgotten

QueenOfTheAndals · 31/05/2018 20:59

@JoffreyBaratheon I didn't fancy Hugh in 4 Weddings but as Daniel in the first Bridget Jones film? Oh yes please!

CoolCarrie · 31/05/2018 23:48

Lilacwine, you lucky thing! He was lovely in Arthur Of The Britains!

Whydididothatfuckingthing · 01/06/2018 00:02

Ziggy Greaves - Grange Hill ❤️

Andthatsthat · 01/06/2018 11:37

Tony Slattery on Who’s Line is it Anyway? how did I forget him on my list!!

Hygge · 01/06/2018 12:55

I completely forget my first love.

Face from the A Team. Blush

GrannyGarden · 01/06/2018 13:54

Tommy Steele

QueenOfTheAndals · 01/06/2018 16:09

@Hygge Same, and I've shaken his hand!

Hygge · 01/06/2018 18:01

@QueenOfTheAndals - you're so lucky.

Was he just as lovely as you hoped he would be?

QueenOfTheAndals · 01/06/2018 20:00

He had aged very well, I remember thinking that I probably still would!

Zaphodsotherhead · 01/06/2018 20:32

The guy that played John in the Tomorrow People!

MissMarplesKnitting · 01/06/2018 20:35

Very pleased to see Jason Priestley is still very fine indeed.

In my best 90's ladette voice, 'fwwwooaah'

Zaphodsotherhead · 01/06/2018 20:36

Oh and the blonde Mancunian bloke from The Bill, the one that used to drive the cars...Tom someone or other.

Oh I had no shame.
