As it suits him, he virtually ignores (Calif./Hawaii); throws paper towels about, lies, then ignores (P.R.); makes a showy quick stopover which he makes all about him (Texas, Florida). School mass shootings: talks boastful rubbish; makes empty promises to the traumatised and bereaved; grandstands and panders to the NRA; does absolute minimum in prevention (bump stocks).

I imagine that he's quite exercised by Hurricane season, mimi.

Given that Trump has no attention span and parrots whatever the last person he spoke to says to him, he is often ridiculous as well as terrifying.

Rumours on Twitter abound, one of which is plastic surgery, another is 45 attacked her, and very many more saying she's left him. Rumour just rumour but the costs of her being in NY are astronomical

I watched a bit of Trump at Arlington. What an embarrassment. He treated it like one of his ghastly rallies to begin with. Thumbs up, pointing out people, drumming up applause for himself, even when he's just reading a speech he sounds so insincere.

It's not actually being reported on the mainstream at all, NorthWest. This is one to draw your own conclusions, I think.

That article about support for authoritarianism reminded me of when Jon Stewart vividly illustrated how easily Fox News anchors were prepared to tear to shreds the Constitution, tossing aside every Amendment except the Second (of course):

I read somewhere Barron isn't at school at the moment, school hols. The New York/plastic surgery stuff has been mentioned on twitter a lot over the past few days. To be honest, that she was also being 'refreshed' was my first thought when M's extended hospital stay was mentioned, because she is so invested her appearance, and there is no lie too far for this White House.
