To think this is SO UNFAIR?

I wanted some pink trainers from New Look so my mum ordered (and paid for) them. She ordered herself some in the same size/style but green.

They turned up and mine don’t fit, I’m now a bigger size than her. So she sent those back and ordered me the next size up. They haven’t arrived yet even though I keep asking her when they are coming and doing my best uuuuuuurgh noise when she says she doesn’t know.

Anyway, the worst thing is that she has been wearing hers. Right in my face. She can’t see what she’s done wrong even though it’s obvious that she shouldn’t wear them until I’ve got mine (and then never at the same time) because it’s just not fair.

AIBU? I’ve stormed upstairs to my room and slammed the door and she still won’t apologise.

My teen DD spends half her time complaining that my clothes are fuddy duddy and she won't been seen dead with me while I am wearing them. She spends the other half of her time saying I am an embarrassment because my clothes are too trendy and she won't be seen out with me in case her friends are wearing the same stuff. We Mums just can't win!

How old are you, 10? Got to be a joke, surely!

GalwayWayfarer · 23/05/2018 21:12

Grin UGH SO UNFAIR. Your mum is being v v v v unreasonable and has no idea how hard your life is and she should just cut you some slack already. It's not like you even asked to be born is it?

Trumpton · 23/05/2018 21:20

SheGotBetteDavisEyes · 23/05/2018 21:40

Anyway, the worst thing is that she has been wearing hers. Right in my face

Is she particularly flexible or is your face very low to the ground?

SheilaHammond · 23/05/2018 21:47

ghostyslovesheets · 23/05/2018 21:52

Oh god I so like feel your pain - my bitch troll mother is refusing to drive across town with my phone - I left it at hers - I am at my dads (by far the better parent and my step mum is ace - my mums a cow)

Okay so it's her birthday tomorrow so of course the alcoholic has had a glass of wine - and she won't leave my 9 year old sister alone in bed to come here - so bloody mean

I have my homework on the phone - of course the bitch offered to open MY PHONE - MY PHONE - she wanted the password - bear truth - so she could message me with the pictures - I blocked her on messenger for being so mean

Lacucuracha · 23/05/2018 22:26

God there are some right misery guts on this thread.

It was clear OP meant it as a lighthearted, obvious reverse. If it angers you so much, don't comment.

ALemonyPea · 23/05/2018 22:28

Love the cards. I’ve sent my mum similar.

MyNewAlias · 24/05/2018 07:14
