she just seems to get better wish age, but unlike the kardashian she's looking perfect. Unbelievable she's a year older than me!

Even in non airbrushed interviews she looks flawless. I know she has some help, but whatever it is she looks amazing!

OP posts:

Anyone who feels the need to inflate their breasts and bum and then make a show of overtly sexualising themselves loses a lot of appeal to me.

ILostItInTheEarlyNineties · 19/05/2018 09:46

God knows how BMI is affected by carrying half a tonne of silicone in your arse and breasts. Confused

I don't think you can turn this into a racial argument. Her figure is comical and not something any woman could naturally achieve.

I agree with Perfect she's a beautiful woman and in my opinion has ruined her natural figure.
There are hundreds of beautiful black women who's appearance I admire just not Nicki Minaj. Nothing to do with the colour of her skin.

AjasLipstick · 19/05/2018 09:46

Unbelievable she's a year older than me!

Bless. OP, when you're only 34 or 35 there's nothing in a year. You're still young and lovely.

AjasLipstick · 19/05/2018 09:49

And the lyrics!

"I'm a bad bitch, fuck that bitch, something something cut that bitch and suck some dick"

It sounds like graffiti!

FissionChips · 19/05/2018 09:49

She’s made her self look grotesque, looked lovely before all the crap she did to her body.

iklboo · 19/05/2018 09:50

I always read her name as Nicky Minge Blush

SayImADreamer · 19/05/2018 09:51

But its not her body. Its cosmetic enhancements.

manicinsomniac · 19/05/2018 09:54

Metoodear I'm one who said she looks overweight and yes, I'm white. Interesting to hear how that body type is perceived as beautiful for different cultures.

To be honest, I guess it doesn't actually matter either way, as long as she's happy and confident.

I didn't realise she had had surgery to make her hips/bum larger (is that right? Might have misinterpreted the comments). If that's the case then there's no health concern with her weight at all and, even if it's natural, she's not so overweight for it be at all detrimental to her health (waist is small which is supposed to be the main danger indicator anyway, isn't it?)

So it just comes down to aesthetic preferences, I guess. Not the way I'd want to look but that doesn't matter. I admire anyone with that confidence and love for their own body.

TerfinUSA · 19/05/2018 09:58

"For an Indian - African woman no she really isn't overweight at all."

Eh, the Indian is hardly a major influence here, she's 1/4 Indian at best. Plus the average Indian woman has a BMI of 21.5, in Trinidad (where she comes from) that number is 30.6.

Africans aren't overweight. She's not African. She's from the Caribbean.

IJustLostTheGame · 19/05/2018 09:59

She looks as though someone has blown her up with a bicycle pump, and that she's made out of plastic.

Not for me.

User314 · 19/05/2018 10:00

ageing well? at 36?

Hmm, I suppose it shows what kind of body you want yourself but i'll stick with my 48 year old body, it's a lot more in proportion!
HOW does she buy clothes?

KnobZombie7 · 19/05/2018 10:01

The top half of her body is lovely as is her face, but honestly, the bottom half is totally out of proportion. Ludicrous even. Imagine her trying to cope with such a huge bottom half in 30-40 years' time. Unless she gets those implants removed, she'll be housebound. It's sad what women are doing to their bodies these days. The 'ideal' has gone to extremes, and times change, all these women will be queuing up for reversal procedures in a few years' time.

TheBogWitchIsBack · 19/05/2018 10:02

I think she's great, I enjoy her music and her sassiness but perfect body?
She's very attractive but none of its real.
I have seen a few pics of her sitting down and it's very odd. Her doesn't really move like a normal ass would.

Hollyboobieboo · 19/05/2018 10:04

She is a pear shape and that’s a common shape for a lot of ladies. I think it’s great that she is confident in her body and that confidence makes her attractive and sexy. We all have different body shapes and bone structure. As well as individual images in our heads of what we consider to be attractive relating to our body shape. For example, I need to lose weight, with my frame and shape, I would never be able to be stick thin or straight up and down in a million years. I want to get down to a size where I have curves instead of just fat lol. I have no interest in being tiny. I find women who have curves very attractive and feminine like Kelly Book or Nigella before she lost the weight. Whereas someone who thinks Kate Moss is the body ideal will look at Nigella and only see overweight and fat instead of beautiful womanly curves. The bottom line is we should all be comfortable in our own skin.

HarryLovesDraco · 19/05/2018 10:07

Beyoncé has the absolute perfect figure as far as I'm concerned. She's definitely had some work but equally she clearly works out hard and she's strong and muscled. Nicki minaj is very sexy but in a way I find a bit sad; her body looks out of proportion and fetishised. Her butt implants won't age well as they are so big and heavy.

FissionChips · 19/05/2018 10:08

We all have different body shapes and bone structure
Yes, but minaj has altered her dramatically.

The bottom line is we should all be comfortable in our own skin
She wasn’t, she’s had her face, breasts, bum and hips enhanced.

Branleuse · 19/05/2018 10:08

She looks great, but the things she sings about are pretty horrible to women

dangermouseisace · 19/05/2018 10:09

I think she looks amazing.

I'm white and slim/skinny. I can either be slim or have my weight round my middle so that I look a bit like a barrel. It's not healthy to carry weight around your middle. I think hourglass figures with hips and everything are beautiful, and it's healthier to carry the weight there rather than be apple shaped like me. I doesn't look like it's all surgery TBH...she has thighs.

noeffingidea · 19/05/2018 10:13

It's not my idea of a perfect body, but each to their own. I wouldn't want to be so big over the hips or bum, though I would like her nice defined waist.
I don't consider a Kate Moss type figure to be perfect either. I like a strong athletic body without obvious implants, someone who obviously works out, regardless of what their natural shape is.

SensoryOverlord · 19/05/2018 10:13

She looks like a caricature of a person to me, ridiculously overdone and fake.

She's the opposite end of what I'd consider a perfect body - yabu.

SoupDragon · 19/05/2018 10:13

How is a huge fake arse the prefect body??

BitchQueen90 · 19/05/2018 10:16

Have you actually seen pictures of her before the surgery? She does not have a natural hourglass figure, she was slim before. Ridiculous amount of work.

I'll never understand why people say celebrities are "ageing well." EVERYONE would age well if they had access to surgery, the best nutrition and personal trainers. Why be in awe of something that is a complete illusion?

BitchQueen90 · 19/05/2018 10:19

Lindsay Lohan had a drink and drugs problem, that's why she wasn't looking great at one point.

Missingstreetlife · 19/05/2018 10:19

African or mixed heritage though

Gwenhwyfar · 19/05/2018 10:22

I don't really agree that most white women would see Kate Moss's figure as the ideal. She was part of a trend for waif like models in the 90s. The ones before weren't as skinny. I grew up with Cindy Crawford being hailed as one of the most beautiful women around. There's plenty of admiration in white culture for slim but curvaceous women as well. The women most admired for their shape would include Marilyn Monroe and Brigitte Bardot, both slim (it's a myth that Monroe was a size 14) but curvy, but not at all the same thigh size as Minaj.

Also, what's the song about? Sounds like she's promoting violence, or have I misunderstood?
