I was given a weeks suspension for fighting.

Catholic school. Lots of tall statues of saints, all had removable hands presumably for easy packing. I switched the all round. No big deal you'd think but one of the nuns nearly had a fit and called the diocese because Our Lady appeared to have developed stigmata over lunchtime.

zukiecat · 16/05/2018 22:57

Nothing at all, ever

I was an exceptionally well behaved child, and never got told off once for anything.

Crispbutty · 16/05/2018 22:59

I was the ringleader in making my entire year go on strike for an entire day. It was in the local paper too. Not my parents proudest moment of me 😂.

OhTheRoses · 16/05/2018 22:59

zukie how lovely to see you. How are you?

Crispbutty · 16/05/2018 23:01

@ChesterFuckingDraws were you at my school? If so, I’m sorry 😂

Stephisaur · 16/05/2018 23:01

We unwittingly spoke to a suspected paedophile using our school email addresses.

We were banned from the computers for a term (I think), our parents were contacted and everyone hated us as it meant the school put really strict controls on the internet after that.

Didn’t realise until a few years ago how inappropriate it actually was :S

Drinking during school during 3rd & 4th year lucky grew out of it haha

EllenOlenska · 16/05/2018 23:08

Also organised a massive Christmas party for our 6th form in the middle of Ofsted week. Half didn't turn up next day the other half were very very worse for wear. I wasn't popular at all with our Heads after that

Aria2015 · 16/05/2018 23:16

Bucking off school. Didn't get into trouble directly with school but had a letter sent home documenting all my absences and then got into massive trouble with the parental! I was 16/17.

sheepysheep · 16/05/2018 23:36

Expelled - in a police cell - having been caught attempting to steal the groundsmans tractor after the summer ball. The intention was to plough the cricket square at my pompous, misogynistic (newly co-Ed) boarding school. Had I been on the rugby team it would’ve been dismissed as a jolly jape 🙄 I Was always told I wouldn’t amount to much. I’ve ended up with a PhD and a really interesting, well paid job. Funnily enough I never fill in any of the “where are you now” requests when they come in the post - I’m not allowing them to take any credit for what I’ve achieved!!

Nat6999 · 17/05/2018 00:59

Wagging school to go to a sound check for a Jam gig in town, getting caught smoking, found sat on lockers having a smoke out the classroom window the day I left. Nothing major, I didn't kill anyone.

CircleSquareCircleSquare · 17/05/2018 01:34

I was suspended for a week and called a “flaming banana” for smuggling in cheap sherry in a Sprite bottle. We swigged it whilst watching the boys in the year above play football thinking we were terribly sophisticated and SATC like. Grin

A girl who did similar was expelled and I think I only escaped a similar fate because I was favoured by the science teachers who were pushing me to knuckle down and aim for a specific uni and subject.

halfwitpicker · 17/05/2018 01:45

Fighting.

I got a bollocking, the other girl got suspended for a week Blush

Hefzi · 17/05/2018 04:06

Removed as editor of the school paper for comparing a member of HMG to a rabid sheep. His wife was Chair of the Board of Governors. Other than that, I was a right swot Blush

adaline · 17/05/2018 06:51

I never got in serious trouble but did get kicked out of class once for saying "Oh My God" in front of our RE teacher once Grin

Oldsu · 17/05/2018 07:00

We had an incinerator outside the school loos for sanitary towels, my mate hot wired it and it blew up in the face of one of the prefects she lost an eyebrow my mate got suspended and I got detention even tho I didn't actually do it.

ChesterFuckingDraws · 17/05/2018 08:40

@Crispbutty
😂😂 was your school in a scottish city? Now demolished and a new one build next door?!

Crispbutty · 17/05/2018 08:54

No, it was a north west England one, demolished now though. 😁

luckiestgirl · 17/05/2018 09:00

I flashed out of the coach window on a school trip (to a group of male roadworkers) Blush
I was in year 9 —WTF!?—
I got suspended and had to write a project about Gandhi.

Lilacwine1 · 17/05/2018 09:17

My friend used to get free school meals. One day I hadn't got any lunch, so I asked her how she got her meals free, she said you just say to the teacher, as you go in, free meal, which I did, not realising there was more to it than that. My form teacher went apeshit, when she found out, and gave me a letter to take home. I don't know what it said, but my mother knocked me senseless for "Showing her up" School days certainly were the happiest of your life Confused

Mulberry72 · 17/05/2018 09:23

Got caught smoking behind a wall during cross country so parents were informed etc, I was 16 at the time so DF wasn’t particularly bothered. The only other thing I used to get in trouble for was wildly dyed hair (usually pink, sometimes blue).

DM & DF were never massively bothered by that.

whifflesqueak · 17/05/2018 09:24

I had some ishoos as a child.

Despite being very academic with a loving, supportive, comfortably-off family I got kicked out of school for repeated drug related offences.

I got over it. I’m pretty normal now.

IJustLostTheGame · 17/05/2018 09:32

Smoking
Bunking - I got caught climbing over the bike sheds to freedom by the head. He gave me a lecture on how orangutans handling arms which enabled them to climb more efficiently than me.
🤣
More seriously I kept watch whilst a couple of upper fifths set fire to the school.
It didn't burn down and I was gutted.
I was also in monumental amounts of trouble.

I'm a normal law abiding citizen now but I still don't feel guilty about the arson. That school was a hell hole.

MissionItsPossible · 17/05/2018 09:56

Having to write about Ghandi for flashing made me Grin

I didn't do anything bad I don't think. I skipped school a lot but never got in trouble for it.
