To get the rage from glass chopping boards

Lighthearted and inspired by a different thread on chopping boards (I know, two on one day, remain calm!). But glass chopping boards, why? They make a weird scraping noise, or are just plain loud when you cut anything on them, especially the textured ones. Why do they exist? AIBU?

I have six chopping boards, all about 12" by 8"-ish. Once one is used, it's scrubbed big time in hot water and a squirt of washing up liquid, put on the drainer to dry. Bring on the next one.

Can't believe someone puts a wooden board in the dishwasher. Not needed.
