To be annoyed that my washing will be ruined

Just opened all the windows in the house and realised that our next door neighbours are having a BBQ...At 9am.
It’s onviously the first time they’ve used it this year as it’s bellowing smelly smoke, that I initially thought was a bonfire.
I have two loads of washing on the line.
I actually quite like the smell of bonfires (although in this case it’s a BBQ) so wouldn’t normally be bothered but I’m a bit pissed off that the two loads I was up early to do will be ruined!

then its the music, not the BBQ. Plus where you live, of course.

According to MN you're an uber cunt if you use them: if you have a bbq, or mow your lawn outside the hours of 2-3 every 5th Saturday, if you have a trampoline, if you listen to the radio, if you have children who arent silent, if you ever have people over, if you play football.

9 am,I like BBQ's but that's taking the piss!

Were having our first BBQ of the year today and I'm really looking forward to it,but it won't start until 5pm(our oldest DS is at work and won't be home till then)and we always make sure to let our neighbours know(incase of any laundry still on the line)and we have the BBq down the end of the garden so not anywhere near peoples windows,doors ect and we won't have music blaring or keep it all going till gone midnight.

I think everyone can enjoy they're gardens without being anti social and without giving any of they're poor neighbours a break down(we had neighbours like that before)people should just try to treat others as they'd like to be treated.

Leave your washing out and let it air once the bbq is done. Although to be honest I've never had my washing smell of bbq even when there's been one next door.

So much anger and bitterness! I'm just glad the sun is shining and it's probably going to shine tomorrow. Everyone I've met today has been smiling. My neighbours aren't going to spoil my joy no matter what shenanigans they get up to 😀

I left the washing out in the end to air. It doesn’t appear to smell of burnt sausage.
I absolutely don’t have an issue with BBQs and don’t really have an issue with BBQ breakfasts, however it was the plumes of bonfire like smoke that got my goat!
Anyway it seems to have been fine. I’ve got my final wash on now, which fingers crossed, should dry before they have their evening BBQ. We will be having one too but it is nowhere near as smoky.

I did the bacon on the BBQ at 9:00 am this morning, TBF I never gave it a thought until I read the MN thread about cleaning BBQs. We on,y have one neighbour though and he was still sleeping off last nights beer fest I suspect.

I am going to light it again now for our steak. Get your washing in quick.

My husband has been bbqing with my washing on the line. He is stood right fucking next to it. He didn't think..

I’m hoping that the excessive smoke was just because they hadn’t used it in a while. If it happens more regularly (the smoke plumes) I’ll ask them to give me a friendly heads up so I can take my washing in!
Anyway i want to re-wash half of it as they were towels. I forgot how much I hate the feel of air dried towels. I must remember to put them in the tumble drier from now on. Doh!
