But honestly they quote something from it every day. It’s just not funny hearing it repeated and it’s so old!

Couple of questions for Friends geeks about how they first met - Ross and Chandler were at college together and Joey started living with Chandler when he advertised for a room-mate. But how did Chandler end up living opposite from Monica, was that just coincidence? And how does Phoebe start living with Monica, or don't we know that?

A friend's daughter was visiting her mother to let her family see the new addition. She put her baby's car-seat in the angle of an L-shaped sofa to see how long it took for someone to be 'smart' enough to say 'Nobody puts baby in a corner'. She didn't have to wait long.

I hate Friends from the dots between each letter to how young they look atm! Ds1 is a fan so it's on and I'm just cringing at the bad jokes and cheesy lines and how thin matt le blanc looks and how J A hasnt really altered. I am not a fan of American humour - why has Ross got a monkey?

Back in the olden days when dh and were first married we'd watch Friends at 10pm immediately followed by Frasier. Then we'd go to bed. Happy days

I never watched Friends the first time round. Saw it on Netflix so thought I’d give it a crack. Oh. My. God! I love it. I’m on season 9 already.
It can be a bit silly, and sometimes I think the writers run out of stuff when they go back and reuse older episodes as flashbacks. It also has an awful lot of product placements. I’m still addicted though!

I don’t think we know. In my head Ross heard about the apartment opposite his grandmas being available for rent and told chandler who moved in. And phoebe answered an ad for a flatmate and moved in with Monica.

AND WHY in the episode with the Prom Video does Chandler look surprised when he realises that Monica used to be "faaaaa..aat" when he obviously knew her when he came to Ross's house for Thanksgiving when they were in college?

Dammit I need to start watching Friends again!

I loved Phoebe's songs especially the ones in 'The one with Monica's Thunder' - that was my favourite episode ever.

Well with my user name clearly I’d fit in well in your office....

My Dad and my DH were trying to move a fridge freezer out of a really right spot, wedged right into a corner of the kitchen, with only the width of the architrave in front of it to spare down the side. Of course, if the moved it sideways as they tipped it forward, it would then hit the architrave and be wedged in, but if they didn't tip it far enough forward, they wouldn't have leverage to slide it out.

After 4 or 5 attempts, I suddenly called "PIVVOOTTT!!!" DH and I collapse in a heap laughing hysterically. My DF, who has always refused to watch Friends on principle, as it is a heap of rubbish with ridiculous humour, looks at us with confusion. I explain, through tears, the episode of Friends, the sofa, the saw, the refund request. By this point, my DF is looking completely bemused, and my DH is crying with laughter. DF still thinks Friends is a load of rubbish (and he's still completely wrong).
