Sick of my colleagues quoting Friends?

The tv show. I loved the show as much as the next person.

But honestly they quote something from it every day. It’s just not funny hearing it repeated and it’s so old!

Red Dwarf is excellent for quotes, but I when the fire alarm went off at work and I said "this is not a daffodil!" my 25-yo colleague looked at me like I'd grown another head - it's definitely showing your age to quote it!

I am with you Op. I liked Friends but inwardly cringe and feel embarrassed for people who continuously quote it. Same for any TV show people continuously quote. Seems to be trying too hard for some reason.

I know someone who continuously uses Rachel Zoe phrases like 'I Die' 'Bananas' 'This is everything'. Cringe Cringe Cringe.
