...before it's too late?

A rudderless govt, bereft of talent, drifts from one mess to another, with a leader now incapable of delivering her key objective and the will of the people: Brexit.

Her Majesty's Opposition a hopeless rabble controlled by incompetent far-left revanchists.

The high reaches of the culture commanded by an equally obscure clique of metropolitan liberals, in thrall to the excesses of deranged American identity politics and engaged in a war with the Labour party and the wider country.

Brexit being eaten away and attacked by unelected continental foes such as Guy Verhofstadt, and internal fifth columnists such as Tony Blair, against whom the British public have no champions.

Freedom of speech not protected by constitution and being eroded as evidenced by Count Dankula case, etc.

Border control rejecting thot conservatives in favour of Jihadi Beatles.

Rape gangs roaming up and down the country with apparent impunity with no one doing anything to protect our children.

Defence budget now insufficient to control national interests. No coherent independent foreign policy or even an understanding of what that might be commensurate of global standing.

Foreign agents conducting clandestine operations with impunity on shore aided by domiciled piratical oligarchs ensconsed in plusher parts of the capital city.

Land not owned by Duke of Westminster owned by middle east petro-crooks (see also football clubs).

House of Lords now a placeholder for party appartchiks and leftist lunatics acting against the will of the people.

The House of Windsor now a middle class-celebrity circus, incapable of acting for the interests of its subjects.

The great medieval university colleges now social justice laboritories, being eaten away from the inside by identity politics.

Who is with me? Bring your own pitchfork

Of course, we would still welcome highly skilled professionals with open arms.

I think you'll find they're leaving / no longer interested in coming to UK in droves because of widespread racism and ignorance surrounding eg the concept of parliamentary sovereignty, international trade agreements and so on. That also applies to the British "highly skilled professionals" of scientific, academic and financial sectors too btw. Best of luck, though Smile

Just a few.

I'm not aware that the country is 'overrun', with 'rape gangs'. Clearly there is anarchy on our streets and no one is safe.

The House of Lord acting against the will of the people. All of them? the whole population?

Foreign Agents conducting clandestine operations etc supported by a load of rich foreigners. Regularly? frequently? Always?

The house of Windsor, not acting in the best interests of its subjects? Not even sure I understand what that means. They have no power to act in the best interests of anyone but themselves. And what exactly is it they're supposed to be doing, or not doing?

A4710Rider · 03/05/2018 12:18

I'm not aware that the country is 'overrun', with 'rape gangs

You've not heard of Telford, Rochdale, Rotherham, Oxford, Derby and High Wycombe? to sadly name but a few......

You've honestly not heard of them?

OP posts:
A4710Rider · 03/05/2018 12:19

...thousands upon thousands of young women abused and you're not aware of them? Bloody hell.

OP posts:
A4710Rider · 03/05/2018 12:23

You may have missed the point of the thread, Tante, but it's about Revolution, not about the dismal Theresa May and her policies....

OP posts:
TanteRose · 03/05/2018 12:28

Whevs

A4710Rider · 03/05/2018 12:30

Yeah, good one there, Tante. Best to get a general gist of a thread before going wading in there armed with pointless links and stuff.

Just saying.

OP posts:
TanteRose · 03/05/2018 12:31

It's hyperbole to suggest a revolution.

The U.K. will just drift aimlessly and lose its place in the world little by little after 2019 and there's nothing anyone can do about it.

Them's the breaks

pigsDOfly · 03/05/2018 12:35

Yes I've heard of them. And yes, it's truly ghastly and more has to be done to protect vulnerable girls, and boys as well come to that.

But 'overrun'? If you had said what you mean't rather than claiming the country is 'overrun by rape gangs' I would have understood what you were talking about.

LucilleBluth · 03/05/2018 12:40

Gosh, I agree with all of your manifesto op. I didn't expect to when I opened the thread. A viable opposition to give us hope...a centrist party to come in, pull up their sleeves and sort shit out is what we need.

Corbyn out now....how the hell he clung on through the anti Semite scandal I don't know....it would have finished anyone else off.

UpstartCrow · 03/05/2018 12:43

Yanu. Revolutions are often started by desperate women who are then subjugated by their own comrades.
If we cant fix the problems we face in a reasonable way we cant expect to come out of a revolution with a sane, orderly system.

Mightymucks · 03/05/2018 12:46

I think you'll find they're leaving / no longer interested in coming to UK in droves because of widespread racism

What about all those doctors applying in the above Guardian article then?

The 100,000 skilled work visas issued last year which was a 1% increase on the previous year? Or the Chinese students whose numbers increased 5% last year? I do believe tha’ talkin’ shite.

A4710Rider · 03/05/2018 12:49

But 'overrun'? If you had said what you mean't rather than claiming the country is 'overrun by rape gangs' I would have understood what you were talking about

It is over run. They are still operating today and will still be operating tomorrow. Doesn't 10,000 and that's a conservative figure mean much to you other than a "poor them"

With all due respect, attitudes like yours, which are so common, assist in enabling these people.

It's a sad indictment of us all that he's still there.

What we need in the UK is an injection of REALISM.

If that offends politically correct types then so be it.

OP posts:
Notthemessiah · 03/05/2018 12:56

Of course, we would still welcome highly skilled professionals with open arms.

Well not quite open arms because they're still, you know, filthy foreign types, but these ones are useful to us so maybe we'll welcome them with a condescending pat on the head instead (as long as we're wearing gloves).

I'm sure they'd be delighted to come to a country where we only tolerate them if we can exploit their skills and training.

A4710Rider · 03/05/2018 13:00

Well not quite open arms because they're still, you know, filthy foreign types

A classic example, dear potential revolutionaries, of the kind of person who are actually damaging the country.

Terrible English in that last sentence, apologies.

When three quarters of the population can't be arsed to vote, what hope is there of actually manning the barricades?

They need to be inspired, which I believe they could be. It's almost a forgotten fact but the British people can be quite a force once their interest is pricked and a common goal looked at.

The political landscape has changed so much in the last 20 years, we need a party that everyone can get behind, led by real people who care about their communities.
