To be livid with ndn

Been out all morning running errands for my elderly mother. Got back home after calling in to get a quick shop. Unloaded shopping, part of which were some plants and bags of soil for the tubs. Plonked them down the side of the house by my gate to bring straight into the garden later, the path felt all crunchy under my shoes, looked down at the path and it was absolutely stinking dirty with dried dirt.

Puzzled, I looked around to work out where this had all come from and realised that ndn had jetwashed their wall (which is the boundary).

They (or someone they'd employed) had come onto our driveway and path which runs up the side of my house to jetwash the wall. Done the job (very well actually as the wall now looks fab) but had failed to clean up my path slabs and driveway.

When I looked more closely my gate was covered in dirt, my recycling tubs were covered, Dh's hosepie which he leaves tidily along the path was stinking, my electric box, my front window and windowsill and also the portion of the driveway where I park my car.

Dh washes the cars and windows every weekend so I know everything was clean.

Bloody tamping, I stormed around to the ndn's to ask why they'd failed to clean up after themselves. They weren't in, luckily cos I was bouncing.

Anyway, I phone Dh in a flat spin only for him to tell me "well there's no real damage", no but the bloody place is stinking and the last thing I want to do is clean up a mess I haven't made.

In a right temper I've cleaned it all down but I'm fuming at their thoughtlessness.

That's annoying. My mum's neighbour (semi-detached) once had someone come and jet wash their roof. The worker went up there without telling my mum first and all her drying laundry ended up wet and filthy. The neighbour once also decided to empty their gutters and scrape the paint off the wooden boarding being them right after seeing my mum paint her front door, so all the crap got stuck to it.

Apart from those things and their loud arguments, they are actually really lovely neighbours. Honestly if they moved out I would be praying my parent's new neighbours would be as nice as them.
