Just had an email from DS school about an "incident" outside the school gates where a man decided to "expose" himself to the school kids on their way home.

Apart from being that things haven't changed since my day, I'm also vaguely .....bemused.

I mean what do flashers hope to achieve? What exactly is the point of getting one's junk out in public and waving it about? Especially when, let's face it, hairy balls and a perky penis aren't exactly pretty at the drunkest of times.

Do flashers expect schoolgirls to run lustily over and scream "take me now" or are they trying to disappoint the poor girls with the flaccidity of things to come?

Yes. Because men don't experience this, they don't realise how frequent it is and how very many men do do it. I'm sure it's still a minority, but it is not this vanishingly small proportion that a lot of men think it is. It is sizeable enough that every single adult woman has considerable experience of it, and it usually started when she was still a child.

So unlike our male friends, we do actually know how common this is. Which is why, when anonymous men start telling us what they want to do to us, or what they think we need to have done to us, we DO take it seriously. Why would we not? On the street they're always shouting at and groping us, on the internet they're telling us they'll rape us and stuff their cocks down our throats. Why in the ever living fuck would we think this isn't serious? Why would we think it's rare and uncommon when it happens all the fucking time?
