I'm posting for traffic here sorry.
I'm so embarrassed about this but this has happened before to me.
Twice I have dreamt that I'm on the toilet and wet the bed and it's just happened again. I am with a new partner and last time it happened I told him that I had spilt water this time I woke up and he hasn't noticed yet.
What the hell I do.

I used to have those toilet dreams, but in the dream, I was never able to use the toilet for some reason or another (couldn't open the toilet door, or lift the lid up, or people would keep appearing, that sort of thing). I n the dream I'd be very frustrated, but as soon as I woke up, I was relieved I hadn't been able to go!

I don't have them now, as I'm incontinent, so my bladder never gets full.

OP, try not to be embarrassed, but do go and see your GP, and please look after your diabetes properly, because if you don't you could end up doing irreparable damage to yourself. Limb amputation and kidney problems will be harder to deal with than just keeping on top of your diabetes.

This happened to me as a teen - also to DP a couple of years ago. I just helped him clean up. Shit happens. If he judges he's a dick.

Lucky, you know what you need to do. Go to the GP, get your diabetes more under control, and possibly lose some weight. What else do you want us to say?

TheViceOfReason · 26/04/2018 13:00

So you are early stages T2 - i would suspect your diabetes is worsening if by your own admission you are not controlling diet etc as you should.

You need to go to the GP.

As an aside do have a look at the blood sugar diet by Michael Moseley because trust me, if I can do it anyone can get their blood sugar right down.

I’m so sorry you are experiencing this. It happened to me once when I was 20 with a bf and I still burn with embarrassment about it now.

Lifestyle overhaul may be the key here but see the GP. Xxxx

I get the toilet dreams where I can’t go and luckily wake up before starting to weebuy worried one day I will wet the bed as I get them regularly.

Go to the loo right before bed (also after sex) and maybe he a fit bit as you can set a vibrating alert and set it for 3 am do you can get up and go again. See your gp as diabetes can cause horrible complications if not controlled.
