Royal Baby name making me rage

Firstly, I know that I am ridiculous and unreasonable and totally over invested but it is GIVING ME THE ABSOLUTE RAGE that the Royals haven't released the name of the baby yet. I'm sure they are doing it deliberately just to exercise the tiny scraping of power they actually have over us. They are doing evil laughs behind the curtains of Buck House and saying "let the commoners wait..."

It occurs to me that Carole or Pippa Middleton if in the know could make an awful lot of money at the bookies!!! (Not that they need it of course). I feel just like the op, but am disgusted with myself. Why do I care so much I have become OBSESSED with checking the news constantly?

If I were them I would deliberately choose a completely different name to those the bookies favour.
I have a feeling it will be Philip. Why not Spencer though? It's a lovely Christian name for a boy.

Also I think the delay is because the Queen hasn't met the baby yet. George and Charlotte's names were announced two days after the birth. I think the Queen needs to approve and probably see the baby first. I don't think Charles ever visits KP.

The delay and the large late bets are far more interesting than the name TBH.

It took me the full month after our firstborn arrived to agree a name and register her. She was called Biscuits until then. Even outside the door of the registry office we had to flip a coin to make the decision. Maybe they picked a name and the baby doesn't match it - or maybe they just can't decide. I think it's great to give a name time to settle before announcing it - I regret one of my kids names and wish we had thought a bit longer before making it official.

I genuinely have no interest in the royals at all but I’m wanting to know now too just so everyone can move on. Maybe they aren’t 100% sure yet maybe she wants to just call him tequila and is crying over the fact it has to be Arthur, Edward etc

why is it so important to you? Princess Anne waited until the last minute before announcing names . Leave them to enjoy the time to decide and take up knitting?

I hope they wait ages, more amusing that way. The Finnish President's wife recently had a baby and they didn't name him until he was 2 months old - I'd like to see them beat that record.

As more people than usual may be refreshing the Kensington Palace Twtiter page, perhaps they are taking advantage and pushing the charities!

Really? Who cares? Personally I’m not the slightest bit interested in how, where, or what they name their baby. It doesn’t affect my life, my sleep, my thoughts........in short, I couldn’t give a flying f*!

How can you not name a human being for 2 months! I already don't get people who don't have a name at the birth, but when you do know, why the need for secrecy?

I predict a new trend of people holding big "reveal parties" to announce the name of their offsprings, with the Middleton creating a new party range and gift lists just for that. Baby showers are so yesterday, we need more money-grabbing events
