Here's a piece on Ronny Jackson. What is the matter with the people who agree to come on board with Trump, don't get it, he's toxic and this bloke's career is probably ruined now. He's probably got an alcohol problem which might've never come to light without the spotlight on him.

It's Freedom Day here in Portugal. We celebrate the ending of a 60 year long dictatorship, only 44 years ago. Which means that I was born under it.

So, here's to Democracy, with all its faults and it's faulty politicians.

And, btw, the flowers stuck in the guns is somewhat relevant to the US.
Maybe the anti-gun movement could adopt it.

I've just spent 2 hrs watching the AIQ folks being questioned by the Canadian committee. Who were not impressed.

I thought the more interesting bits were from about 10:17:00 am (hour of day, not time elapsed).

And never mind co-ordination between Leave campaigns, which was the burden of the questioning – the co-ordination between parliamentarians was awesome! Damian Collins chair of the UK committee was watching live and passing material to his Canadian counterparts, including some obtained in real time from the UK Information Commissioner, so her response to AIQ's claims could be put to them.

There was a lot of juggling of the terms "SCL", "Cambridge Analytica" and "AIQ" so the witnesses could say things like "We never had any data from CA (it came from SCL)."

Overall I didn't find the AIQ appearance very informative. Other than clocking what techniques the one who kept butting in was using to avoid giving a straight answer...

I don't know of this has been posted but it is the drinks menu for Comey's DC book party. Made me smile.

Talking of obfuscation, I didn't manage to watch much of Kogan at the DCMS committee yesterday (thanks for the heads up, Pain) and my link was rubbish. But I noticed he too was very narrow in some of his answers: kept talking specifically about paid Facebook ads rather than other activity on Facebook or on other media.
