DH and I have turned into PILs and now rush home for game shows.

Your man there just took -£5000 Shock

There are many words I would like to use to describe that Angry

I wonder if it is a bit of a tactic, pretending you don't know many answers in the cash builder, so the Chaser offers a really big high offer, which you win.

There was one a while back that I'm convinced did that. The guy got 3 in the cash builder then "guessed" his way to the big one.

Me and ds1 have a rule that if we ever get on (we won't) we wouldn't go low unless we were the last person and wouldn't take more than -1000, and only if we'd got 5000 or more in the cash builder and someone else has brought back big money and are happy for us to go low.

We're quite invested I've realised Grin

Of course because we are armchair players we can change the rules when we like Smile

@PaddysMarket
I can't stand the celeb one, guaranteed someone wins the big money then the chaser seems to have a blank moment in the final chase so 9 times out of 10 the celebs win.

On one of the Celebrity editions one of the chasers picked “blue” to the question “What colour skin do The Simpson’s have”? Hmm

I saw a repeat where two contestants lost by 1 second because one of them answered ‘What sort of vehicle is said to be heliporne’ with ‘plane’.

Partner must have been raging.
