Cheap but nice gifts

I have 7 ladies in my team at work that I would like to get small thank you presents for. But I am skint.
I can probably manage about £5 each tops.

Last year I bought them all funky reusable shopping bags and have bought mugs and pens previously. But I am out of ideas.

Food and drink is a no go due to various allergies and diets etc.
Does anybody have any ideas or links to nice but inexpensive gifts that would fit the bill?
Thank you

You know their taste and that sort of thing but what about earrings from Accessorise - I love having these (they are tasteful for the price) and often lose them.

Grumblepants · 11/04/2018 16:38

Posh soap from one of those hand made shops.
Or go to The Works and get them each a book on something they are interested in.

liquidrevolution · 11/04/2018 16:40

I would go with funky notebooks or post it notes. Even if they don't like the style they will still get used.

candles earrings, fake flower vase things - nice but not to everyone's taste.

PeanutbutterBuns · 11/04/2018 17:11

HOw about buying something for the group as a whole? But everyone a drink down the pub at lunch, or a small live plant for everyone;s desk? All different ones?

flowerslemonade · 11/04/2018 17:14

a nesti dante soap

AdaColeman · 11/04/2018 17:22

Bunches of spring flowers for everyone!

A vision/inspiration board?
Cork board, can pick these up for £2/£3, some starter post it’s or card shapes and some lovely pins and there you have it.

Not for everyone but depending on your team it might work. 😀

TobleroneBoo · 11/04/2018 18:08

I just bought a few gifts from the cancer research online shop, which are nice

Isadora2007 · 11/04/2018 18:12

Would a nice coffee machine for your office for all of them work? Or a different joint gift?
Maybe you would get a special offer on prosecco mini bottles? Or would a masseuse/masseur come Ito your office and do each a shoulder/neck massage for them all for £35/40?

TacoFlavouredKisses · 11/04/2018 18:17

I've discovered the little Scottish Fine Soaps in a tin from TK Maxx (2.99 a pop) and am using them myself (the cocoa butter one smells like heaven!) but they'd make a lovely gift with a bunch of daffs!

Homesense has those Rex lunchbags I think (or very very similar!) so TK Maxx might have them too!

Weedsnseeds1 · 11/04/2018 18:41

Do they bring packed lunches? These are in TK Maxx at the moment £4.99. Made of bamboo fibre to eco-friendly.
( I have a thing about lunch boxes, hence getting 4 - weird I know).

Cheap but nice gifts

Oh there are some lovely ideas on here. I didn’t expect so many answers. Thank you so much.
Group gifts are not do-able as we are a team within a school rather than an office.

I will have a good look at some of the places suggested.
Thank you again.

I'd also agree with SShaming, reusable coffee cups.

HollowTalk · 11/04/2018 20:14

I don't think you should feel you have to buy gifts, particularly when you are broke. I'd hate to think someone was spending their last money like that. Why not bake some cakes and bring them in?

SaucyJack · 11/04/2018 20:23

Have you got Tiger near you? They sell loads of kitsch/funky homewares that would be on budget.

Mirrors/cake stands/soap holders yadda yadda yadda.

greenlavender · 11/04/2018 20:24

Bath bombs are lovely but not everyone has a bath

WinkyisbackontheButterBeer · 11/04/2018 21:30

HollowTalk you’re very sweet but I am not that level of skint, I just meant that I couldn’t manage much for 7 of them. The ladies have really gone out of their way in some very tricky circumstances. They deserve a huge thank you.

Saucy I’ve not heard of Tiger before. I will have a google.

Not seen that Rex shop before but I'd be happy to receive one of these vases or cacti in glass things www.rexlondon.com/decorative-accessories?ptid=%2C6057%2C5113
