Cheap but nice gifts

I have 7 ladies in my team at work that I would like to get small thank you presents for. But I am skint.
I can probably manage about £5 each tops.

Last year I bought them all funky reusable shopping bags and have bought mugs and pens previously. But I am out of ideas.

Food and drink is a no go due to various allergies and diets etc.
Does anybody have any ideas or links to nice but inexpensive gifts that would fit the bill?
Thank you

What about a compact mirror

BetterEatCheese · 11/04/2018 15:46

Personalised notepads? Lisa Angel has lots of quirky gifts and free delivery

Got to TK Maxx and look at their soaps / hand creams or scented candles. You can usually get nice, posh brand stuff there for about a fiver

photographyaddict · 11/04/2018 15:47

A nice candle? :)

OlennasWimple · 11/04/2018 15:48

Or, if you have an Ikea or decent £ shop near you, buy some nice vases and fill with bunches of daffodils (I'm assuming that these are in the shops now?)

The Range is great for nice small homeware gifts. My nan got me this, really pretty

Trinity66 · 11/04/2018 15:53

Fluffy Socks, everyone loves fluffy socks Grin

chocatoo · 11/04/2018 15:53

I was going to say candles and TK Maxx too. I'd be delighted!

What about a coffee voucher (Costa or similar)? Or if you're near a Molton and Brown outlet you can normally buy a bag of miniatures that you could split up across the 7?

stargirl1701 · 11/04/2018 15:54

Coffee voucher.

AdaColeman · 11/04/2018 15:57

Small folding umbrella, TK Max or Boots.
Lipstick case with mirror
Keyring

AdaColeman · 11/04/2018 15:59

Little torch to go on a keyring
Holiday sewing kit

Reusable coffee cups? Since shops are going to gradually phase them out, a reusable cup will be jolly useful and I know I’d be thrilled to receive one as a gift!

Chand4567 · 11/04/2018 16:13

Body shop shower gel, they always have 40% off. You can get clear gift bags from the pound shop and put 2 shower gels together with some sweets and closed with some ribbon.

Hillarious · 11/04/2018 16:15

Another one here for nice hand cream!

BringMeCoffeePlease · 11/04/2018 16:15

Candles are good. You can get some really nice supermarket own ones.

I also like the coffee voucher idea.

MoistCantaloupe · 11/04/2018 16:16

Bath bombs, I love bath bombs.
Candles are good too.

MoistCantaloupe · 11/04/2018 16:17

Although, if one of them doesn't have a bath...not such a great gift.

allthgoodusernamesaretaken · 11/04/2018 16:19

Books ?

QuiteLikely5 · 11/04/2018 16:20

A Euro lottery ticket? Or two

PattiStanger · 11/04/2018 16:23

Tricky to buy the same thing for so many people as it's going to be a fair bet that someone will already have what you buy or won't need it.

You need something you can't have too many of and everyone is pretty sure to appreciate - easier said than done and I'm not having any luck thinking of anything.

Personally I wouldn't want any of the things that have been suggested so far apart from a candle or hand cream and even then it might not be a perfume I like.

KC225 · 11/04/2018 16:24

I know it looks odd but his about an initial stamp with sealing wax. Cheap as chips on amazon. Looks impressive with brass scrolled initial stamp and wooden handle.

PasDeDeux · 11/04/2018 16:27

I'd be really happy with a nice candle!!

Tigerpit · 11/04/2018 16:30

A lottery ticket or scratchcard
Scented candle, handcream or soap
Nail polish in a colour individually chosen for them, one you think each would enjoy.
A houseplant - kalanchoe are really pretty and easy to look after, or maybe a peace lily (these may be out of budget, it's been a while since I bought any), or an angelhair fern.
Nice lipbalm
Pretty scarf
