What age should a brother and sister stop sharing a bath?

My children love sharing a bath together, but as they get older there’s less room in the tub and I’m wondering at what age they I should stop them sharing?

For context, there is a 2 year age gap. My eldest is a 7 year old girl and she loves to share with her 5 year old brother.

I think around seven you could ask if she wants to bath alone? I wouldn't always leave it up to the child to say. Even though they are innocent children they know about how their bits are private at this age.

God I would love to be able to have a soak without one or both of mine trying to get in!

We too are a very nudey house but have stressed to the kids that there is nothing wrong with wanting privacy and we will tone down the nudity other than in own bedrooms/bathrooms if it makes them uncomftable.

older DD who is 10 has showers on her own now, younger DS still showers with me or DH, but we all get dressed together in our bedroom every morning, usually have open bathroom doors, run downstairs in the nud to get clean washing etc.

Thanks for all the replies. I’m going to start asking if they want to share and wait until they say they don’t.

My DD1 (just about to turn 10) lives having a bath with her baby sister (9 months) but she puts her swimming costume on now- that way they can still play together but she doesn't feel uncomfortable. It was her idea but I was so glad as it's lovely to see them splashing around!

I have dd11, dd9, ds8. I ask them who wants a bath/who wants a shower and if more than one says bath then I ask alone or together. Ds always has a bath, girls often shower, but sometimes they all get in the bath together. Must be squashed but they enjoy themselves!
