To think we have to share our discount with everyone

We're going somewhere this weekend with several other family's. We earn by far the most but also get it half price as work for the nhs. We have to buy as a group and share our discount. Equally right?

well its 6 adults and two get it half price. i feel a bit cheeky especially as we can afford it the most. i do like the round of drinks and a snack idea to even it up, thanks

Where is this? NHS discounts usually involve showing ID and usually do have limits (like Nando's limit amounts to £4 I think)

If limitless and not too arduous and not requiring ID per person and these people are friends then booking as a group to share the discount would of course be the right thing to do.

Firstly it depends on T&Cs of scheme. It would always BVU to try to force friends or family to break rules that could result in them being disciplined.

If you are not going to share equally then I would buy separately to the rest of the party and if you are going to share don't make too big a deal of it (some people with less money can be very proud and would rather not be reminded of that fact).

If it’s something like Merlin or London Zoo where prices are high your friends might be able to get 2 for 1 discounts eg if they travel by train.

Or they might be able to use Tesco Clubcard / Nectar points.

You are totally overthinking this, unless you are forcing all your friends to go to the place that you get a discount for you really don't need to do anything.

It's no different to another member of the group getiing cheap tickets from the back of a cereal packet, you don't need to try and even things out, why would you think that?

I think you are just a really nice person! How would you feel if it was another member of the party getting the discount? I'm sure you wouldn't even think about it.
