Perhaps that's an exaggeration, but even so.

DH did a visit today (out of office), and didn't update his boss that he had finished.

His boss just texted to ask if he was okay and got home safe.

DH said he did and went to go into detail about how things went (work related), and boss wasn't interested. Just wanted to make sure he got home okay and to have a lovely evening

Is this standard practise?

Well the potty was probably not the right colour for me,, the post was kind of odd, and a photo of Donald Trumps hair would have been a more amusing talking point

It's so sad that there's so little fun around here.
