Good on you, Dec Wine

MrsJoshDun · 31/03/2018 20:38

I did as well, though missed the first 30 mins. Not really to see what was said but I guess it’s true that any publicity is good publicity. I’ve always had an aversion to prime time sat night tv......think I’ve been scarred by Noel’s House Party. But so many people I know have been talking about this show and from clips I’ve seen on the news and internet this last week it looked quite good. Well I enjoyed it.

NeedForBlossom · 31/03/2018 21:07

Regular watcher here.

Great work by Dec, loved both Stephens.

Not a Paloma fan at all though and don't think the end of the show show worked this week Sad

ferriswheel · 31/03/2018 21:16

Yeah well done Dec but i missed Ant too. The pp said that Dec on his own is just a presenter, it's their banter that makes it so good.

Reckon the end of the show show would have been amazing with the pair of them.

mrsm12 · 31/03/2018 21:27

Just watched, my heart went out to him at the start. He did a really good job but it lacks some spark that they only have together, i always watch but think dec alone after a while could get very repetitive.

Belindabauer · 31/03/2018 23:06

I did the same as you op.
Managed to last less than 60 seconds.
I really don't care if I never watch it again.

Eggyegg · 31/03/2018 23:17

I feel bad it's taken me until now to work out which is which Blush

Good luck to Dec though.

MorningsEleven · 31/03/2018 23:24

Sweet that they mentioned his wife's pregnancy, he looked absolutely overjoyed.

Sparklingbrook · 31/03/2018 23:26

It's great that watching SNT isn't mandatory isn't it? Grin

Choice is a wonderful thing.

Yarboosucks · 01/04/2018 01:10

I watched part of it and I have to admit that I was not at all prepared for how awful it was. Never, ever again

That's ok Yarboosucks you just have to not watch next week's then you are home and dry. Grin

3luckystars · 01/04/2018 01:51

Well it was his first time ever presenting alone, so to get through it was a great achievement. If he wasn’t perfect then he will definitely improve!

It must have been very stressful for him with all the eyes watching him last night, but having to get on with the show anyway.

I wish him well.

ChishandFips33 · 01/04/2018 10:58

It must have been very stressful for him with all the eyes watching him last night
...and the DailyFail just desperate for him to trip up

Never mind though...they managed to get their creative juices flowing....and made up a stupid headline about it anyway!

I think he/they alluded to the situation well
