Wow what a day,
My neighbour was in "early" labour this morning at 39 weeks so I popped in for cuppa and a chat.
3 hours later and a very quick..oh these contractions are getting painful to "I need to push"
Her ds was born into my arms.
Ambulance arrived 5 mins later.

I'm so proud of her and thrilled that I was there.

What a privilege to welcome new life into the world.

I'm on cloud nine

Wow! You all did so well. Welcome wee man ! I always think women deliver their babies and you are just there. Every baby I have seen born is a miracle ( HCP). I cried every time, Maybe you need a career change and become a midwife.

Thank goodness you were there.

That's lovely. I'm 41 weeks pregnant and 50 minutes from the closest hospital. I would feel better if I had a neighbour like you around!
