Mine is everywhere I see everyone has a Pandora charm bracelet on.
Whilst I own the bow necklace and earrings.. I can't see the appeal in the charms :/ yet apparently they're the best thing according to my best friend.

@RedHound, I’m not massively educated on antinatalism. I don’t have children or plans to, and I don’t disagree with the basic philosophical argument, to the extent I’m aware of it.

I suppose there’s just less of an ‘easy’ way to feel as if I’m doing much to minimise unnecessary human suffering than animal.

StealthPolarBear · 24/03/2018 17:05

Most people on mm seem to have the same opinion about nights out.
An early night with a Cup of tea is the ideal for most.

I enjoy most weddings. And hen nights for that matter.

Forevertired19 · 24/03/2018 17:06

@owlina yes! I used to hormonal cry if it wasn't in the house carrying my dd. Huge pregnancy craving 😂

I love having a massive flatscreen TV and I don't care if anyone else thinks it's common.

mirime · 24/03/2018 17:11

@PierceBronhom if I were to become vegetarian on animal welfare grounds (and I frequently consider this) I'd still eat pork from my friends smallholding because I know her pigs are well cared for and have happy lives.

I do think most of us need to eat less meat.

StealthPolarBear · 24/03/2018 17:11

We don't have a TV at all.

Because we have a projector that fills one entire wall and we use that instead.

User247 · 24/03/2018 17:12

I think chocolate is nasty.

TheRebel · 24/03/2018 17:13

I can’t stand singers that belt songs out with that warbley type of singing a la Whitney Houston, Alexandra Burke & Adele.

I think the deference shown to the Royal family or anyone with a title is bizarre, they’re only there by an accident of birth.

I love eating at McDonalds and staying at Premier Inn over going to an independent restaurant or hotel, I know they’re not fancy but I like that wherever I go I know what I’m going to get.

clyde5591 · 24/03/2018 17:13

I know one should not answer a question with a question - but why do you want to know?
It's such an open ended question - are you doing a survey/article or research?

Purplelife · 24/03/2018 17:13

I’m baffled why people always bang on about this being a middle class website. I have no doubt there are middle class posters on here but there is obviously a lot more that aren’t, going on some of the threads I have read.

VladmirsPoutine · 24/03/2018 17:15

These threads invariably end up deleted believe me I know because they act as a cloak to conceal some very hateful views.

StealthPolarBear · 24/03/2018 17:15

I like my mil.

PerfectlySymmetricalButtocks · 24/03/2018 17:17

sparklefarts DS1 would agree with you.

MrsTerryPratchett · 24/03/2018 17:17

That car seats/boosters for older children are a big fat con, perpetrated by car seat manufacturers.

QueenLaBeefah · 24/03/2018 17:18

I've been me on some really tacky hen nights and had a great time.

Doryismyname · 24/03/2018 17:18

Marmite is like burnt pan scrapings.
Alexa and google dot are for lazy people who can’t think for themselves and also so large corporations can gather more information about us (and no I don’t have a tin foil hat)Grin

MorningsEleven · 24/03/2018 17:23

I love my mother-in-law and my children haven't died yet from being shouted at when they're being atrocious little beasts.

TolpuddleFarterOATB · 24/03/2018 17:23

Cadbury's Cream Eggs are just awful.

photographyaddict · 24/03/2018 17:28

Beyonce is overrated. There I said it Grin

Glittertrauma · 24/03/2018 17:29

That open toed shoes shouldn't be worn in the office. I thought that was a universal thing but I've come to realise many people even think flip flops are okay in a work environment. Frankly quite weird.

LoisWilkersonsLastNerve · 24/03/2018 17:36

I don't like cats, dogs or Ed Sheeran. Or Beyonce. Plus lots of other things that are popular but I'd be here all dayGrin

MorningsEleven · 24/03/2018 17:39

@LoisWilkersonsLastNerve

I couldn't recognise an Ed Sheeran song, I just think he's a little extra from the Hobbit.

LoisWilkersonsLastNerve · 24/03/2018 17:43

His songs are very "how to write a song in three easy steps". But then I haven't written bugger all so maybe I shouldn't judge. Wink

Ritzsaltedcrackers · 24/03/2018 17:44

Alcohol turns most people into tedious arseholes and most people are far too reliant on it.

Ritzsaltedcrackers · 24/03/2018 17:45

Also - only a very small number of women suit very short hair.
