The intro of this song is really familiar. DH says it's not, other than having a bit of an 80s vibe. I'm sure it's a sample or a copy of another song. Google is not helping. Can one of you?

The bit I'm referring to is the vocal from 7 seconds to 27 seconds (though it repeats in the background across the song).

Bette Davis Eyes was from 1980, and it also reminds me of Cyndi Lauper "Time After Time" from 1983. So early 80s rather than later I think. I was a teenager in the 80s and it takes me right back to that kind of sound!

It reminds me of A-ha too, so 80s Norweigan... and Anna is Norweigan. I think it's the retro synth sounds that do it.

It's some sort of 80's boy band sound, erasure, pet shop boys, that sort of thing. It's right on the tip of my tongue and driving me mad!!!
