Only the Treasury Secretary talks about the currency; they try to talk it up or down very rarely, and it's only done after a lot of analysis.

This is RUMINT, but pretty credible RUMINT: Trump preparing to fire Sessions, name Pruitt Acting AG (which he can be since he already holds a Senate confirmed position), and Pruitt fires Mueller. And McMaster likely to be replaced by Bolton. Shulkin also on way out, FWIW.

Regarding the @gabrielsherman report, Trump could make Pruitt ~Acting Attorney General~ should Trump fire Session under the Vacancies Reform Act. If nominated to become the next AG, however, he would need to be confirmed again. (Just like w/ Pomeo at State.)
