But then I grew up with a Narc DM who had no boundaries when it came to my non existent privacy, so I'm very sensitive to it.

I do not get putting scan pictures online. Is nothing personal, sacred or private anymore??

Tattybogle89 · 10/03/2018 05:46

Considering people thought it looked like an eel I hardly think the baby’s privacy has been invaded

nursenancy43 · 10/03/2018 07:17

@Absofrigginlootly oh come off it it's a 2d grainy image of inside my stomach it's hardly a picture of a child's genitals. Get a life.

Girl

Lovesagin · 10/03/2018 07:30

Going against the grain to say I think it's a boy. The first scan I thought boy based on how it compared to my scans (where I was convinced it was a girl because of the lines) but the second scan I 100% think boy.

Congratulations op!

nursenancy43 · 10/03/2018 07:32

@dayandnightshapes @Lovesagin thanks for opinions! Will be interesting to see

The reason I say girl is because at my 17 week scan it was very prominent and totally obvious it was a boy. And for girls I've heard of the three line theory which is quite clear. I am not a sonographer though.

nursenancy43 · 10/03/2018 07:44

@dayandnightshapes yeh as this scan was 30 weeks I never saw any dangly bits like I did with my son but not to say they not hiding somewhere, was just the second pic that threw me but again I don't even know if it's legs and genitals or not

It's not a picture of inside your stomach - that would be an endoscopy image. You posted a close up ultrasound of between your babies legs - so yes, it's genitals.

I have a life thanks and I'm entitled to my opinion that I think it's a violation of your babies privacy.

nursenancy43 · 10/03/2018 13:52

@Absofrigginlootly ok and I'm entitled to my opinion that you are being absolutely ridiculous. Hmm

I'm confused why you have 2 threads with 4+ pages discussing the same picture with very similar replies in 2 different areas of the board Confused

nursenancy43 · 10/03/2018 14:07

@YerAuntFanny I posted in one then thought I'd get more replies in the other but didn't know you couldn't delete threads once you had started them

There’s a thread running where apparently showing someone your recently decorated bedroom is an invasion of privacy.

But a close up of genitals isn’t?
